@sirdibbydukes Rappers back then were intelligent and actually had talent, not to mention they rapped about their lives and the things they went through. Some of today’s rappers rap about lack most of that.
@HeatherLemire1 The frustration comes from being compared to a generation that played the game under entirely different rules. Working hard still matters, but hard work no longer guarantees stability the way it once did.
@HeatherLemire1 Boomers also benefited from systems that were stronger at the time: cheaper education, lower housing competition, better worker protections, pensions, and a cost of living that matched wages more closely. Younger generations inherited the opposite.
