21. Tue 2023/12/19 - Running
Marks 1 month since I started running. Probably fastest 1st KM pace, but ended up being all gassed out at the end of that first KM. Lots to work on still.
20. Mon 2023/12/18 - Running
PB for 5K! Totally thought today was the first month anniversary of this exercise journey but turns out it’s tomorrow. Don’t think I’ll be breaking this PB tomorrow, so PB on the last day of the first month it is! More weights after running.
19. Sat 2023/12/16 - Running
Chiller recovery run after the 5K on Friday. Still managed pretty decent pace and did 1 KM more than I thought I would run for a ‘recovery’ run. Continued with weights after the run.
18. Fri 2023/12/15 - Running
Back to running again after 2 days of rest cos my neck wasn’t being cooperative at all. Need to go back to the rhythm of exercising with alternating 5K and 3K while waiting for the home gym bench to arrive.
16. Sun 2023/12/10 - Running
Welp was too lazy to post this one, but this was the last day I ran before just now. Another 5K back-to-back after Saturday.
14. Wed 2023/12/06 - Running
Chill run night for recovery after the 5K yesterday. Almost thought wasn’t running tonight cos ate quite a lot quite later at night just now, which I did regret. No more bigger meals before a run have to swear to myself.
12. Sun 2023/12/03 - Walking
Brisk walk after missing 2 days of exercise due to falling sick. Fever on Friday night but feeling all good today. Will take it easy the next couple of days and be back full force hopefully next week.
11. Thu 2023/11/30 - Running
Almost did 5k just now. Pace looks good for literal couch to 5k in 11 days. Will for sure rotate longer running and Ring Fit exercises in the next couple of days to balance things out. Little rest from Ring Fit to let muscles rest for now.
10. Wed 2023/11/29 - Ring Fit & Walking
Rained again just before heading out for the run, ended up with 47 mins session of Ring Fit. Ring Fit was grueling but could feel more muscle was being pushed for obvious reasons. Rain stopped so added 28 mins more of walking.
9. Tue 2023/11/28 - Running & Ring Fit
Only managed to run for 8 mins before it started raining and had to stop. Continued with Ring Fit instead. Squats are no joke.
8. Mon 2023/11/27 - Running
Bought apples earlier today for pre-running snack, turns out you’re not supposed to run straight after eating anything sour. Lesson learnt. Did not really run too much because of that, not to mention aching around the shin and calves.
7. Sun 2023/11/26 - Running
Skipped yesterday because was out of town (at least hiked the equivalent to 20+ flights of stairs). Stamina feels a lot better already. Current problem is burning sensation in these legs after a couple hundred meters. One week mark, more to come.
6. Fri 2023/11/24 - Running
Super late running tonight because had to come home late which means late dinner. Was really slow compared to previous days, not because of muscle ache/pain but because of all this food in my tummy. Need to stop eating the whole buffet before running.
