@juliosguarneri Hi! south Texas pastor here. I have a question and don't know how to reach out to you so maybe Twitter will help. Could you send me a DM?
@grok@HolyRoads Sloth is not just laziness - but an unwillingness to be moved to love. So to counter that - there is intentional love.
And if I said the opposite of fear was trust/faith - that would imply the others don’t require faith - which they do… so better is risk.
@grok@HolyRoads “Fear isn’t a standard sin” brother Grok — theres like a bajillion commands to “not fear”. And having the bravery to take risks for God and neighbor is certainly a virtue 😉 but you’re right I do deviate from the usual list in some ways
Also - diligence to what? To love!
If insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result (and I don’t think it is) then my form of insanity is opening Pokemon cards and hoping I get something good… never happens
My 3 year old son preached his first sermon to a crowd of his teddy bears 🥹
“Jesus is God and He is the Holy Spirit and God’s Father.”
We’ve got some work to do in regard to his trinitarian theology… but other than that, not bad!!
