I keep thinking about how we could turn Heeseung’s story into something meaningful, not just something that makes us sad. As a fandom, I think we could turn this into a small act of kindness.

If you have the time and opportunity, consider volunteering with a local cancer organization, hospital support program, or charity in your area. You could spend time with patients, help organize activities, support fundraising events, donate blood where appropriate, or simply contribute your time in whatever way your local organizations need.

You don't have to do something huge. Sometimes, being there for someone who is going through the hardest period of their life is already meaningful.

Heeseung once spoke about playing guitar and hosting talent shows for patients while he was undergoing treatment himself. He knows what it means to find a little bit of light in a place filled with fear.

Maybe we can carry that light forward.

Let's not only say that we are proud of the person he became. Let's do something kind in his name.
