@1_Sunny_Girl_@DavidFischer@grok If you care about your former Catholic associates, you should have more respect for them.
Fighting over doctrinal differences like this has caused people to start wars in the past and kill each other.
If this is what brings them peace, so be it. They still love Jesus.
@1_Sunny_Girl_@DavidFischer@grok You obviously know nothing about Catholicism.
Catholics don't pray to Mary as if she's a God.
They're asking for her to intercede on their behalf.
If your want to be offended because of that, that's on you.
The Hail Mary specifically says 'pray for us sinners'.
@DavidFischer@grok Since you seem to be incapable of looking up Scripture for yourself:
Luke 1:30-31: "And the angel said to her, 'Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.'"
@todd_thacker@tyromper Couldn't disagree with you more and I think you missed the entire point of the story.
Being his son is irrelevant. Also, we're all God's children, but we're not all saved.
It's clear that the son lost his inheritance due to his own choices.
To any that can see.
@AndyPattonCBB They need reliable outside shooters or they're not going to reliably win.
And it's always harder if you don't have a true deep threat to spread the floor.
@nicktomoyasu20@TheZagaholic Time to burn ties with that agent.
Kind of hoping Kayil doesn't get drafted or gets knocked out of the big leagues right away.
GU may have been a backup plan, but if that's the case, they should have said that.
@turtleboogers@tyromper Yes, believing doesn't mean for an instant, it means for always.
Also, believing means accepting Jesus as your Lord which means being obedient.
It doesn't just mean believing Jesus exists.
In that sense, even the demons believe.
@todd_thacker@tyromper Exactly, he became 'not saved' due to his own choices.
He was with his father and saved.
He made choices that took him out of his father's kingdom for good, not saved.
He chose to come back and was saved again.
Don't see how you can't see
@AndyPattonCBB I think it's a disaster period, and is another move from the NCAA meant to give yet another advantage to the schools with all the $$$ that they continually favor over anyone else.
