everyone complaining about a no phone policy at shows isn't at all surprising since people can't even be bothered to wear a mask for disabled people for even a few minutes of their day
@pianoballads yeah some people are being extremely insensitive about this. wether you agree with a phone free show or not we should be listening to disabled people’s concerns about accessibility. especially at concerts because it’s gotten really bad
i do feel like security was extra heightened at msg to make up for not having cell phones but there are definitely still things that need to be improved on. we also need to be talking ab this in a respectful way and not judge disabled folks for being a little concerned
i wanna clarify that i completely understand people’s concerns ab the no phones when it comes to safety and accessibility. it’s important to continue talking about safety and accessibility at shows bc it is going down the drain
it is fine to not like the no phones rule but complaining about the ticket price bc you can’t bring your phone in is crazy when we don’t know the prices and you can just choose not to go
i know people are concerned ab safety with no phones but as someone who has seen and worked with a lot of bad security personnel i felt very safe last night, i was always able to locate an employee. hopefully it stays the same through tour i think most of them were on her team
i have to say security was on point last night in msg. there were 3-5 security guards walking up and down the rows all night and even some watching from the top back stands. yes they were looking for phones but they were also guiding and helping people all night
@WomanisaScythe@ItCantBeYou i agree. the majority of people complaining spend $400 for floor seats for their faves (as do i) but when you can’t take pics and videos $150 isn’t worth it?

@theresnoyou@hloverry honestly leaving was a LOT better than entering. i think the biggest holdup was writing down all of the seats onto those papers, they only had one employee writing them at my entrance 😭
