Why do publishers insist on releasing the first book in paperback only, and then hardcover for the second book? Do they not know that book people are crazy???
The final for my AP Lang class is to write a reflective essay on how the year went for them, and this kid wrote: "The meme board helps remind students that while being a millennial, Mrs. Platt is one of the good ones."
I just finished #HouseOfSkyAndBreath and I know I need to sleep but I'm just laying here staring at the ceiling wondering how I'm supposed to just live my life like that book didn't happen.
Me: I'm really enjoying having a principal that supports her teachers.
The district: *takes the principal*
Me: Okay, well at least I can still teach fun books to my kids.
The district: *bans books from classrooms*
