@Jordan_Schiefer@itskyleconner It’s option D or E. It’s a coolness factor and a combo of the other things. R2 gets an A- on coolness and would be an A+ with UHF having point to point.
That’s the biggest miss vs. Tesla imo and the Rivian is more expensive.
@RivianTrackr I can’t wait for @itskyleconner to do a full 100% to 0 range test between the two! He needs to have an R2 with the 21’s and one with the 20” all terrains.
@RivianTrackr Tesla is rated for higher efficiency on the highway but the way their efficiency numbers are inflated, I think Rivian may be more efficient on the highway.
@RivianTrackr@itskyleconner@Pi1991Matt Have Kyle do it in a Tesla and you in a Rivian to compare. It will be 2027 or 2028 before Rivian will be ready and prob 2030 before they catch where Tesla is today but would be a very cool head to head comparison.
@RivianTrackr@JerimiahLee That would have been a legit 460-480 and would have truly hit 400 on the highway! Would have been an amazing EV road-tripper with 250 miles, stop to hit the bathrooms, buy food and you have 325 w/o EV charging impacting you at all
@Hilbe That would have made it one of only a couple ever true 400 mile highway range EVs!
I really hope they come up with a 100 or a 105 kWh battery in the future R2s
