Regarding the appointment of Jacinda Ardern as Professor of Practice

Dear Professor Scott,

I read with absolute disgust that the University of Sydney has appointed Jacinda Ardern as Professor of Practice, where she will apparently be sharing her wisdom on empathetic leadership, social cohesion and civic trust.

You cannot be serious.

You are quoted as saying:

"Dame Jacinda led New Zealand through events of profound consequence and her leadership demonstrated that empathy and resolve do not compete with one another; each can strengthen the other."

Appointing Jacinda Ardern to teach social cohesion is rather like appointing Jeffrey Dahmer to teach a course on wellbeing, or Jimmy Savile to run the local daycare centre. The sheer absurdity would almost be funny if the consequences of her leadership weren't so hideously tragic.

My name is Alia Bland. I am a co-founder of Voices for Freedom, an organisation established in New Zealand in 2020. For years, we stood alongside tens of thousands of ordinary Kiwis whose lives were torn apart by the policies of Ardern's government.

While the international media fawned over her kindness and compassion, we were dealing with the wreckage.

At the height of the COVID response, we were receiving upwards of 1,000 emails a day. Desperate people reaching out because they had lost their jobs, their incomes, their homes and, in many cases, their will to live.

People nearing retirement were forced to sell family homes they had spent decades paying off. Some are still living in caravans five years later.

Marriages collapsed. Families fractured. Lifelong friendships were destroyed. People who had served their communities for decades were suddenly treated like lepers because they declined a medical procedure.

Some of the people who came to us had spent their entire lives believing New Zealand was a decent, fair-minded country. Watching that belief crumble, and seeing what it did to them, was heartbreaking.

I cannot adequately describe the anguish in those emails. The desperation of parents wondering how they would feed and house their families. The humiliation of hardworking people being marched out of professions they loved. The despair of people who had done everything society asked of them, only to discover that their own government considered them disposable.

And presiding over it all was Jacinda Ardern, smiling for the cameras and telling the world how kind New Zealand was.

Kind? For whom?

Her government deliberately created a two-class society. Ardern herself acknowledged it publicly. New Zealanders were excluded from workplaces, businesses, events and ordinary social life. People were coerced into accepting a medical intervention under threat of losing their livelihoods.

And those who suffered adverse reactions to the COVID vaccines faced another nightmare. We fought for vaccine-injured New Zealanders whose lives had been devastated by serious physical harm, while many struggled to have their injuries acknowledged or receive adequate support.

The government's public assurances about vaccine safety deserve particular scrutiny. Officials knew about the myocarditis risk, including among young people. We have examined the records. Yet people raising legitimate questions about those risks were routinely dismissed and vilified.

The damage went far beyond lost incomes and broken relationships. An enormous number of New Zealanders lost faith in the very institutions they had trusted their entire lives. Government, health authorities, education, police and the media. That trust has not magically returned because Ardern has moved on to more prestigious surroundings.

While her government was busy marginalising people, we were building a nationwide support network to help them survive.

Voices for Freedom grew to more than 100,000 people on our mailing list, many representing entire families. More than 45,000 people signed up to our local groups across the country, which are still operational today in 2026. We established industry groups to help people fight for their careers, provided support through employment disputes and legal challenges, organised practical assistance and hand-delivered millions of flyers to households throughout New Zealand.

We did this while facing censorship, public vilification and government surveillance. Official records obtained since have confirmed that our activities and communications were being monitored and reported on.

Our volunteers gave everything they could to help people who had been abandoned by the institutions meant to protect them.

And now the University of Sydney wants to hold up the woman responsible for overseeing this period as a shining example of empathy and social cohesion?

It is sickening.

Professor Scott, did anyone at your university bother to speak with the people whose lives were destroyed under Ardern's leadership before celebrating her appointment?

Have you spoken to the former nurses, teachers and police officers who lost their careers? The families who lost their homes? The people still suffering from vaccine injuries? The parents whose children no longer speak to them?

Or did you simply swallow the carefully cultivated international image of Saint Jacinda, the compassionate leader who saved New Zealand?

I wonder whether you have considered why this internationally celebrated former prime minister now lives in Australia rather than the country she once led. The depth of hostility towards her among many New Zealanders should give you pause.

Because I can assure you, there is another side to that story. And there are hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders who live with the consequences.

I have no objection to universities studying Ardern's leadership. In fact, I would encourage it. There is an enormous amount to learn from what happened in New Zealand between 2021 and 2023. Like, what not to do...

But presenting her as someone uniquely qualified to teach empathy, social cohesion and civic trust, without acknowledging the extraordinary human suffering that occurred under her leadership, is an insult to the people who paid the price.

We were there, Professor Scott. We saw what happened. We picked up the pieces. We are still picking them up.

Some of those people will never recover what they lost.

And the woman who presided over it all gets a professorship in empathy.

What an absolute disgrace.

American–born Julie Inman Grant is a key architect of the multigovernmental “Global Online Safety Regulators Network” to censor the speech that politicians and government bureaucrats fear.

X owner Elon Musk should be thrown in prison, said a senator in Australia yesterday, because he refuses to delete a video of a recent stabbing from X globally. “Whatever Elon Musk is on,” said Senator Jacqui Lambie, “it’s disgusting behavior. Quite frankly, the bloke should be jailed and the key thrown away.”

But what’s truly disgusting behavior is calling for the incarceration of someone for refusing to censor the entire global Internet on behalf of a single nation. It is not the right of any nation to decide what should be on the Internet around the world. “No president, prime minister, or judge,” responded Musk on X, “has authority over all of Earth!” He’s right.

It’s true that violent content online can be disturbing. I think platforms should put warning labels on them and find some way to prevent minors from seeing it. I also think there are real privacy concerns that should be addressed.

But violence is not the only thing the Australian government has told X to remove. It has also targeted political speech. And nothing can justify the Australian government censoring the entire global Internet of content it does not like.

Many of us, myself included, have long suspected that government censors in Ireland, Scotland, and the European Union would attempt to censor the whole of the Internet, not just in their own countries. With Brazil and now Australia demanding the power to censor the whole internet, it’s clear that our fears were more than justified.

And now, Public has learned that there is a formal government censorship network called the “Global Online Safety Regulators Network,” which Australia’s top Internet censor, Julie Inman Grant, who is an American, described at World Economic Forum. The group includes censors from Australia, France, Ireland, South Africa, Korea, the UK, and Fiji.

But before getting to that, it’s first important to understand just how powerful she is. Here is Julie Inman Grant, boasting of her extraordinary censorship powers. “Yes, we do regulate the platforms. We have a big stick that we can use when we want to….They’re going to be regulated in ways that they don't want to be regulated.”

In a different video, Inman Grant said, “We also have some pretty significant ISP blocking powers. We just had some new powers given to us… in addition to be able to compel that takedown, to be able to fine perpetrators as a deterrent effect, and fine content hosts that don't take down this content, um, we can, um, We also have something in this new legislation called the basic online safety expectations.”

She goes on to say that she is already working with Ireland, the UK, France, and other governments around the world.

“We use the tools that we have, and we can be effective, but we know we're going to be, go much further, um, when we work together with other like-minded independent statutory authorities around the globe…with the U. K. With Ireland and with Fiji in November 2022, we launched the global online safety regulators network that has now grown to seven independent regulators, including France, South Korea, South Africa and a number of countries are serving as observers.”

At the World Economic Forum, Inman Grant said she had launched a global censorship body called “the Global Online Safety Regulators Network” to unify governments around censorship “So that we could have a form to help us coordinate, build capacity and do just that. But also make sure that what we're going to have differences in our regulatory schemes, there would be common values that drive us together.”

This global censorship body gives governments extraordinary power to invade privacy, explained Inman-Grant. “What this legislation will give us is the ability to compel basic device information and account information. And more and more and more social media companies are starting to collect phone numbers and email addresses so that our investigators can at least find a place to issue a notice or a takedown notice or infringement notice of some sort.”

Inman Grant may be working with other governments to create identity requirements and to stamp out Virtual Private Networks, which millions of people in China and other totalitarian societies use to access the free Internet. “You can use VPNs, you can use burner phones,” she said, “different SIM cards every day. So it's going to be a challenge for a long time because, again, the internet's global. If there is no such thing as a kind of global identity system or even a piece of identity everybody can agree with, you know, should we all be sharing our driver's license or our passports?”

At that same World Economic Forum meeting, one of the European Union’s top censors, Věra Jourová, calls for censorship to avoid events like January 6, and to fight hate speech.

“The same thing, uh, reaction on the 6th of January, 2020.  So, in Europe, of course, we have our history. We had to take action against hate speech. Because what it is, anti-Semitism,  racism, LGBT, the menu is always the same.”

Jourva explains that the EU and Australia intend to pressure social media companies to implement global censorship to simplify things.

Things people aren't realizing:

Most SILVER mining is a byproduct of copper and zinc mining. There's almost no silver mining that happens on purpose as a primary target.

Copper and zinc mines use SULFURIC ACID to strip those elements out of raw ore. (The acid dissolves the metals into solution, where they can be poured off, living the raw ore behind, essentially.)

The war on Iran has collapsed the world's sulfur flows out of the Persian Gulf.

Without sulfur, copper and zinc mining nearly collapse. Without copper and zinc mining, silver production plummets (obviously). This is where we are right now in late 2026.

The main reason silver isn't exploding in price right now is because the same war that impedes sulfur flows is also impeding the energy flows used by manufacturing industries that demand silver as an input. (Simplified explanation, but largely valid.) Plus, of course, paper manipulation of silver markets by governments / central banks.

When industry does come back online at full speed, sooner or later, the above-ground silver supply will be drastically thin. What do you suppose will happen to silver prices at that time?

Almost nobody realizes that silver production depends on sulfur shipments out of the Persian Gulf.

20 dead calves in less than 3 months – the Danish state press remains silent!

Today marks 7 months since the first calf caretaker reported sick and dead calves due to the waste product from Bovaer – NOPA 3-Nitrooxypropionic acid. She experienced 20 dead calves in less than 3 months of Bovaer use. Nothing negative happened to calves that did not receive Bovaer milk.

Since then, two other calf caretakers have reported the same problems. And the same solution: do not give calves Bovaer milk!

And the state press, which is otherwise quite capable of writing about and producing documentaries on animal welfare in pig production, has in 7 months not mentioned the sick and dead calves with a single word. Not a single word!

It is obvious that there have been major lies about the Bovaer poison and the reason for its introduction, and the claim that nothing went into the milk died in February 2025. The claim that the Bovaer poison is supposed to be safe and effective, is also stone cold dead.

NOPA 3-Nitrooxypropionic acid, the waste product from the Bovaer poison that ends up in food, is claimed – while it harms and kills calves – to be harmless for humans to consume.

EFSA is now reassessing the approval of the Bovaer poison, which otherwise rests on the Bovaer poison producer’s own experimental data. It is also from this producer that the claim that NOPA 3-Nitrooxypropionic acid is harmless comes.

Sick and dead calves due to NOPA 3-Nitrooxypropionic acid, while EFSA is reassessing the approval of the Bovaer poison, is mysteriously not something the state press finds that the Danish population should be informed about.

None of this happened by accident. Follow the chain.

The government added 1.27 million people through migration in three years, more than Canberra, Hobart and Darwin put together. The economy got bigger. Your share of it didn't. Real GDP per person is lower than when Labor took office.

Those people needed homes.

The country is 124,000 homes behind the government's own target. Rent is up $204 a week in five years.

AMP says public spending hit a record 28% of the economy. The Reserve Bank Governor told the Senate that spending makes her job harder. Rates went up four times this year. 1.79 million mortgage holders are at risk of stress.

The jobs came, but 80% were funded by government, and real wages are still below 2022.

Power bills were hidden with rebates you paid for. When they ended, electricity jumped 22.4% and fed straight back into inflation and your mortgage.

Tax is now the highest share of the economy since 2007-08. Interest on the national debt is $27.7 billion a year, $75 million a day.

Put it all together and the OECD gives you the result. Australian households had the biggest fall in living standards in the developed world, two years running.

In fairness, the Reserve Bank sets rates, the whole world had an inflation shock, and government debt as a share of the economy is lower than in 2022.

But migration, spending, rebates and tax were the government's choices. Every one landed on the same kitchen table.
