So… the SNP top brass cannot read financial statements, cannot evaluate evidence, and cannot tell the truth. The party must be mightily relieved that none of these frailties have infected its thinking on Scottish independence.
@murrayf00te you and i live in a country where the SNP get elected despite being a dismal failure in government - because basing your entire campaign on false grievances and fantastic (economically incoherent) claims apparently works
make that make sense
I like to think I can understand arguments from all political sides.
However I am totally baffled that anyone would put a cross in the box for Lorna Slater.
Why would you do such a thing???
Even if he is all those things...it is still also possible that his policies would destroy our economy (what's left of it). You can mean well and do terrible harm.
VAT on private schools. Sounded good. New report says cost Scottish econ 900 jobs, £60m and counting. Pupil numbers down 9%. If this was social engineering it's working. If money raising, not so much.
Total joke. 10.8 days sick per year, they only have to attend office 2 days a week yet nobody knows exactly what the attendance actually is. This would never be tolerated in the private sector.
Scot Gov civil servants can refuse to work from their offices without disciplinary consequences, and the agreement that civil servants would try to come in 2 days a week was conditional on attendance not being monitored. 🤯
@transcotland@FionaHyslop A blanket reduction is just lazy - reduce the limit where the conditions merit it. 60mph is perfectly safe in most scenarios.
Another stupid idea along with the blanket 20mph in town proposal. Will only lead to longer journey times, increased frustration and the risk of dangerous overtaking manoeuvres.
Have your say on proposals to change speed limits.
@FionaHyslop explains how the National Speed Management Review is an opportunity to improve #RoadSafety in Scotland ⬇️

For those unaware, Scottish Universities are underfunded by the SNP and have to fill courses with as many foreign, fee paying students as possible. This means there are not enough places for Scottish kids who often have to head South and pay fees in England.
Swinney is a liar.
Which is not true in Scotland because so many qualified students are denied places at Scottish unis and have to pay £9k+ pa to go to English or Welsh unis.
Q: Why has the Scottish government run out of money?
A: Across the UK public sector workers make-up 17% of the workforce. In Scotland it is 22%.
And, the median public sector employee in Scotland is paid £2,400 more than in rest of the UK.
That's why. https://t.co/4I2NtQNiGF
Ed Miliband’s Net Zero militancy is a disaster in the making. His ban on North Sea drilling will deal a body blow to jobs, the economy and our energy security. He is easily as deranged as any Just Stop Oil cultist, says James Woudhuysen
https://t.co/A0Mf7aVnng
in Ed Miliband's bizarre logic we've got to stop drilling in the North Sea to make ourselves less dependent on oil and gas from dictatorships

Their cause in ruins. The governing party they shill for on the verge of collapse.
All these guys have left is pejorative, borderline racist, anti English spite.
A new low.
