a large proportion of these children have been murdered, many havent even made it onto the official death count as they've been crushed to death and lost in the rubble, those who've survived are being starved to death right now by Israel, through the active participation of our governments.
I think we're making a mistake incorporating religion into our military promotional videos.
I'm sure I'll catch some heat for this opinion but I do think the separation of church and state remains an important principle in our country. It's something we should be careful not to overstep rather than to see how far we can take it.
Ashli Babbitt’s death was one of the most justified and appropriate uses of lethal force I’ve ever seen by a law enforcement officer on video in my lifetime.
All night long, emergency crews in Kyiv were battling fires in apartment buildings and cars after Russian drone strikes on residential neighborhoods. Unfortunately, there are injured children and adults. Everyone has received the necessary assistance. In Cherkasy, an ordinary dormitory was on fire. Last night, Russian forces also targeted the Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv regions with Shahed drones. In total, 165 UAVs were launched overnight – most of them Iranian Shaheds. Throughout the morning, guided aerial bomb strikes on the Donetsk and Sumy regions are continuing.
The Russians are calling for a ceasefire on May 9 while striking Ukraine every single day. This is top-level cynicism: just this week alone, Russia has used over 1,180 attack drones, 1,360 guided aerial bombs, and 10 missiles of various types against Ukraine.
A real ceasefire is necessary. Ukraine is ready for silence to begin on any day – but for no less than a month, to bring the war to an end. If there’s silence, it must be every day. If there’s a ceasefire – then not for their holidays, but for every day. I thank all our partners who continue to support Ukraine and put pressure on Russia.
