We are pleased to share that yesterday, we convened stakeholders, technical experts, regulators, implementers, and government partners to advance the revision of Uganda's Water Supply Manual.
Thanks to the collaborative efforts of @min_waterUg and @Water4PeopleUG
Great to see this partnership in action!
Thanks to @TotalEnergiesUG for collaborating with us to bring safe water to Avogera and Kigwera Health Centre Ills, enhancing maternal care and community health. #UWEWK2026
We’ve commissioned new safe‑water systems at Avogera and Kigwera Health Centre IIIs in Buliisa District. These upgraded systems are strengthening maternal care, hygiene, and overall service delivery, supporting health workers and the communities they serve.

Can you believe it❓
It’s almost a year since we handed over the Nyakabugha -Bikone bridge in Kasese.
Despite the varying conditions on the Mubuku River, residents stay connected.
Thanks to the combined efforts of our partners. #Engineering#bridges#SystemsThinking
Dec 9-11, School of Engineering students & EWB-EA visited Kasozi Health Center III to survey key systems like water, energy, & biomed.
Big thanks to Ms. Beatrice Mucunguzi, & Incharge Ms. Betty Namatta for facilitating this step towards sustainable healthcare solutions.
EWB-EA together with @EWBUSA, Rotary Clubs of Kansas City & Kericho, recently assessed A.I.C. Litein Hospital’s water, sanitation & energy systems.
The hospital relies on 3 water sources producing ~188,000 L/day, still below demand.
Next: system redesign for reliable supply.
Panagiotis, a master’s intern from the University of Grenoble, has spent months with EWB-EA tackling critical infrastructure needs in Uganda. He applied his expertise to projects like developing a solar-sizing tool and assessing power reliability in healthcare facilities.
