One day I'm going to become a wanderer, I'll ask people I meet to teach me something new and leave them with random trinkets and what-not and add them to a journal
Writing advice!
If you don't know how to write battle/fight scenes then don't.
Instead, describe what it looks like - the expressions on characters, the emotions of the fight/battlefield, the sounds, the sights, maybe some dialogue?
Story idea!
A cursed immortal wandering the lands, searching for a way to revive their dead loved one, who died far too soon, and, maybe, in the process, learning to be okay without them, or finding a group of friends and getting caught in all sorts of shenanigans

The heroes share worried looks among themselves, "why are you telling us this?"
"What you want is answers, is it not?" she smiles as though she'd merely offered a bread bun.
Writing prompt
A party of heroes enter a forest.
The forest is said to be haunted, nobody who enters has ever left.
... Or no one has seen them leave.
The outskirts of the forest are normal, their treck is unbothered, until they meet a woman.
She looks completely ordinary.
But what she says is anything but ordinary.
"It's not that the forest is haunted that people don't return." she tells the heroes.
"What is it then?" she is questioned.
"This forest grants the wants of the visitors." she smiles kindly.
