THANK YOU! Campaigns are not easy. It takes a lot of effort from supporters and volunteers to make an operation a reality. Even if the result wasn’t what we wanted, we are truly blessed to have met so many wonderful people across the Mountain State. To that end, thank you.

I've never done this before (probably won't ever again for anyone else) so to be clear this is my personal views not that of linked article or its author.
But regarding West Virginia Supreme Court election on May 12th I feel compelled to speak out:
I've known Tommy Ewing (@ewingforwv) & his family for over 30 yrs. From being church kids at Sunday Road, to playing ball, to watching his family grow, to covering his Circuit Judge work in Fayette County which was a mess when he was nominated to the bench and where he dealt with all the problems you see in WV headlines & policy fights first hand - When Justice Ewing talks about personal integrity he is the kind of man that means it and it shows in how he lives & works. You can tell he cares deeply about West Virginia's people because he never stopped being a part of his own community throughout his career.
Justice Ewing doesn't have the controllable arrogance talent that those of us like me who talk on camera & into microphones all day have, so sometimes in a world used to professional content creators his greatness doesn't convey in the media as he campaigns. But we have enough smooth talking human buzzword machines in office. You get what you seen throughout his life, and now on tv, radio, and Metronews: studious in his work and passionate about the process of law, carries the responsibility of it because he understands the people side of his decisions, high integrity, one of us, family man, high levels of give-a-damn about the things that really matter. The fancy term is "judicial temperament" but it just means level, fair, equally respectful of law and people. and Justice Ewing's judicial temperament is impeccable. West Virginia needs all of that we can get.
Don't have to agree w/every single decision/opinion or personal politics even in a non-partisan election; the totality of the man and his lifetime of working at his craft and honing his abilities while staying in the place he loves the most is exactly the kind of human being we need in a position with enormous repercussions for the people of West Virginia in such a time as this. I encourage the West Virginia electorate to think on these things and keep Justice Tom Ewing on the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
(Full disclosure I'm a regular contributor to this linked outlet, but again these views are mine & mine alone and I had no imput on this piece or on election coverage)
