@Badged_Patriot I agree. When I was a kid, we had a swimming competition. They had ribbons for 1st place thru 6th place. They had multiple races for freestyle, backstroke, etc.

Almost every swimmer went home with at least 1 ribbon. Nonetheless, there were winners & losers.
