It's deeply concerning to see the Ethiopian gov't retaliate against Orthodox Christian government employees for going to work dressed in black — during the 3 days long "Fast of Nineveh" (February 6 to 8).

The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church's Holy Synod, declared the faithful to wear black for the 3 days of prayers and fast, in protest to the Ethiopian Govt's persecution of the Church. Tens of millions of Ethiopians accepted the call and wore black during these 3 days.
