Jacalyn den Haan is a poet and journalist from Vancouver and living in Montreal. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in The Windsor Review, Yolk, and EVENT Magazine. Her debut poetry chapbook, "Selected Leavings", was published in 2021 through Cactus Press.
Lara El Mekaui is a writer, editor, researcher, and educator, based in Toronto. Currently, she is the lead non-fiction editor at The New Quarterly. Lara teaches writing and communications at The University of Waterloo.
