One of the most memorable and characteristic stories about Lenny Bruce concerns the dilemma he faced on the night of the Kennedy assassination, when he was scheduled to give a sold-out show in a huge New York theatre. It was unthinkable to leave the topic unaddressed. But it was equally unthinkable to directly joke about it, since his audience were all Democrats and all in deepest shock and mourning.

Bruce solved the dilemma brilliantly with a three-word gag: "poor Vaughn Meader", a reference to a fellow comic who had recently risen to fame principally as a Kennedy impersonator. This gag delivered, the unaddressable topic had been addressed without really being addressed and Bruce could get on with his routine.

The moment we're currently living through in Britain seems to me to invite, and even demand, a hundred variations on Bruce's "poor Vaughn Meader" remark, directed at every luminary of the Dissident Right.

Poor @Sargon_of_Akkad, poor @MorgothsReview, poor @Babygravy9...and the remotely observing yanks as well, poor @GodCloseMyEyes, poor @martianwyrdlord - these people have all made their names, and many made their fortunes, giving rendition after rendition of the old sonata: "in the UK the media only exists to further The Narrative, all newspapers and TV stations are controlled by The Enemy, the media reaction to every racial or truly national incident or confrontation will invariably be: 'move along please, nothing to see here''".

Small fortunes and not-so-small careers have been built, as I say, on the regular, quasi-liturgical repetition of these 2005- or 2010-vintage articles of Dissident Right belief. And now – just when the judges of Southampton and Dundee are busy taking apart, brick by brick, that other pillar of the Dissident Right credo whereby the judicial system never serves our cause but always the cause of globalism and multi-culturalism – here comes Restore UK’s unstoppable hetaera battering-ram Sammy Woodhouse and starts in on the "mainstream media are closed to us" pillar by opening a crack in the wall of soothing pablum wherewith UK daytime commercial TV has hitherto shut out the deeply uncomfortable truth of "jihad by child-rape".

And trust me bros, it will go with this crack, throughout this year and on into the next maybe, much as it went with the first crack in the Berlin Wall nearly forty years ago. It won’t be long until the wall is rubble and less than rubble, and until the objections raised by “Richard and Judy” against Woodhouse’s script to the effect that all the abuse (that never happened to her) “was really about race" have become faint and died away completely - and until indeed “Good Morning Britain” can do without Sammy Woodhouse altogether because “Richard and Judy” themselves will have taken on the task of spreading the news of the Rape of Britain and the dozens of naked white girls locked in cages in the backs of vans being driven round the country by Brown Invaders and so on.

And THEN what will become of the income streams of @Sargon_of_Akkad, and @MorgothsReview, and @Babygravy9, and @GodCloseMyEyes, and @martianwyrdlord?
