@_QuackySizeJoe_@MorganLeBlank I mean, it's simple, the main characters are likable on a basic level, and it has flashy animation. Plus, the target demographic is 13-16 year old boys, so a majority of its audience grew up with it.
@wort315@theewinterwitch So, the Reeves Batman movie being successful kind of put a dent in their plans, and having two competing Batmen isn't a good idea from a marketing standpoint.
@HG_Kyle@GilgameshLFX@MikeyNohMore Natural Talent exists. It's contentious amongst creators because they feel that it minimizes their effort. Natural Talent doesn't mean you won't have to work your ass off. It just means your efforts are more likely to mean something.
@eggbaritone@animeupdates It's still convenient. The average consumer does not care about corporate greed. They only care about having the best available method to access their favorite piece of media. For comics, it's actually incredibly reliable since they can be produced on a much lower budget.
@ArtistLangford@x0Starlight I genuinely feel that the reason that people want him as Harvey Bullock is because they can't grasp a big black dude playing a well-liked lawyer. While Stan would do a great job, I do think there's a slight bit of racism in people's reaction to this rumor.
@korbynnator@Utd_Y14 I don't think it's wasted potential tbh. I think people are immediately attempting to typecast him in a role that's rougher, like Bullock, because he's a big black dude. I think Sebastian Stan playing someone like Zsasz could be like Colin Farrell's Penguin.
@SpicyTizz@Mangaic2 I mean, he did train for nearly a year before inheriting it. Plus, the version of OFA that he inherited was significantly stronger than the version that All Might initially inherited.
@DportStudios The other powers weren't available to All Might, and Deku was only able to use the other quirks because OFA had a Quirk Awakening due to the energy that Deku accumulated during his short tenure with OFA.
@Bemol417647 I mean Naruto was directly marketed to kids on Cartoon Network while Bleach was primarily on Adult Swim. One Piece actually had a really rough start in the west due to 4kids.
@spydermane99 I mean Miles follows the same Archetype as Peter, same with every other teenage Superhero that Marvel has introduced. Peter just has the unfortunate luck of being the most popular superhero in the world, meaning his status quo is extra forced.
@B00K0FTRIBE I have the opposite view I feel like Spider-Man is inherently a role that is Peter Parker's. I think the Spider-Verse and turning Spider-Man into a Mantle were mistakes.
