yes, but never understimate the political genius that the liberal party is. Their timing, marketing, posturing and strategists are some of the best in the game. Even look at the bailout timing - right before two pipeline announcments? not a coincidence. Their ability to detach from policy, corruption and lack of productivity and tear at the heartstrings of their base's emotions are exactly why they have been in power (and will likely remain) for so long.
