@NeoHFT Agreed. If 100Gbps per port is what you're after, then a 10G switch is not going to be a good fit. As you @NeoHFT are well aware, this device is targeted at HFT operations, where 10G is king and 25/50/100G remain a twinkle in the eye.
@NeoHFT The Calient S320 is a MEMS based optical circuit switch which does not support one-to-many broadcast, the most useful feature in an L1 switch. Moreover, it does only 320 TX/RX pairs in 7U (ie 45 per 1RU). The ExaLINK Hydra fits 160 in 1RU. Making the Hydra about 3.5x the density.
