@billgx @GrassPelt_ I said how I agree w u in another reply, but it really can't be stated enough that the updates are going towards generating traffic for ad revenue for the most part. sometimes you'll get updates that are genuinely helpful but most are to make money or meaningless #digme406

@billgx @GrassPelt_ I agree with you here, a lot of updates seem to be trending toward generating more traffic, not making it better for the users persay. an exception might be the change they're thinking about on Instagram of not showing the amount of likes on a post. #digme406

@GrassPelt_ one thing I know I dont like and the reason I probably use reddit the most is the inability to downvote posts. I think downvotes have a place in every social media to keep the content fresh and engaging. #digme406

@billgx canvas would definitely work, the problem with Twitter discussions is the forced character limit which discourages long questions and replies. it's even hard to elaborate on this because I'm running out of characters. it's by design. #digme406

@macko_george There really is just no limit to what you can do, and you're right, it's perfect for mundane tasks. I have mine disconnect me/connect me to my home's wifi when I leave or come back, respectively. #digme406

I found out about IFTTT (If That Then This) earlier last semester from a friend of mine who learned about it at an internship. I have it set to tell me to drink more water since that was a problem I was having at the time. It also emails me about game deals. #digme406

@billgx as with most things, I think context is important. on my birthday my mom will usually post some pictures and reminisce on old memories of me, but the constant posting mentioned in the article and she wasn't even on social media yet? that's a bit strange #digme406
