Worth a listen! 🎙️ As we head into ASCO, here's a great podcast from @DrKarenKnudsen who brilliantly describes the state of cancer therapy development, the need for more "translational resources" to bring discoveries to patients faster, and how this model is replicable for diagnostics.

Thank you @TheMarkFdn for supporting our founder Hani Goodarzi (@genophoria) and team on his paper about our novel oncRNA biology. This research is foundational to Exai Bio where we develop AI models targeting oncRNAs to detect disease earlier.
Catch up on the latest in #cancerresearch! We’ve rounded up 18 of our favorite Q1 publications from Mark Foundation grantees, on topics ranging from the effects of EBV in lymphoma to somatic genetics.

Introducing Deviation Capital.
Era-defining companies are the exception. They break almost every rule of conventional wisdom as they rise, but start the same way. A founder encounters something broken, invents a way forward others couldn't see, and bets everything on bringing it to life.
We launch today as the spinout of Two Sigma Ventures to find, fund, and support these founders, backing technical teams harnessing data and computing to build enduring exceptions.
A new Medscape feature highlights work from our founder Hani Goodarzi's (@genophoria) lab showing that orphan non-coding RNAs form disease-specific molecular barcodes across tumor types.
This biology helped lay the foundation for Exai Bio, where we deploy purpose-built AI models that train on oncRNA patterns in blood.
We are translating these molecular barcodes into next-generation liquid biopsy tools for disease detection and precision medicine.

At long last! Great to have this in print; congratulations @jeffzywang and Timmy! And thanks to the ISPY2 team for their support.
As is usually the case, these results are a few years old, and our team at @exaibio has been building on these findings: https://t.co/DEAjrHfk09
Inspirational story from our friends and collaborators about the need to push the system harder to find cures for rare cancers. At Exai, we are developing AI models to make high quality, data driven diagnostic solutions accessible for all.

Yesterday our co-founder and CSO Babak Alipanahi presented at the Biotech-Pharma Statistics Workshop (BBSW) about the powerful combination of AI and cell-free RNA to detect early-stage lung cancer in the blood.
Thank you to BBSW for this opportunity to share how AI outperforms traditional machine learning methods and will play a pivotal role in the future of liquid biopsy.

“Everyone has their own lens on how they perceive their analyte of choice. The winner will be a multi-parametric approach,” said Mass General’s Cesar Martin Castro. “It’s foolhardy to say ctDNA is going to give us all we need. There’s no winner-take-all. It’s just finding the right combinations.”
We couldn’t agree more. The future of liquid biopsy will go beyond ctDNA and incorporate novel biomarkers to truly deliver on the promise of early cancer detection. Exai’s RNA-based platform is poised to play a central role in this future and provide the complementary, early stage performance that DNA-based approaches need.

Reflecting on a productive week of meetings at @ASCO! Thank you to all those who visited our Innovation Hub booth to learn more about our technology. The theme this year, “Driving Knowledge to Action: Building a Better Future” resonates with all of us at Exai Bio as we do our part to build next generation liquid biopsy tests. #ASCO25 #LiquidBiopsy #AI #RNA
Congratulations to our Board Director Karen Knudsen (@DrKarenKnudsen) MBA PhD for receiving the 2025 Allen Lichter Visionary Leader Award from American Society of Clinical Oncology (@ASCO). We are so grateful for your leadership, passion and the profound impact you have on the cancer community. #ASCO25 #Leadership
💥New Publication Alert in Clinical Cancer Research💥
We are thrilled to announce our latest publication on our novel RNA and generative AI liquid biopsy platform for early colorectal cancer detection. In the independent validation set, we achieved an overall sensitivity of 89% at 90% specificity, with an 80% sensitivity for stage I — an important milestone, as early-stage CRC detection remains a challenge for other blood-based technologies. This study highlights the power of RNA + generative AI to play a central role in delivering on the promise of early cancer detection. #EarlyDetection #LiquidBiopsy #RNA #AI #ColorectalCancer

Exai Bio presented new data demonstrating the power of its RNA and AI based liquid biopsy platform to detect early stage colorectal cancer. Stage I sensitivity in an independent cohort was 80%, exceeding other blood based approaches. Thanks to Amir Momen-Roknabadi (@aroknabadi) for representing Exai Bio at #AACR25!

My Density Matters is hosting the 5th Annual Find out My Breast Density Day. DYK almost half of all women have dense breast tissue which means they are at higher risk of developing breast cancer, and mammograms may not be as effective for them? We’re joining My Density Matters to spread awareness that today is Find Out My Breast Density Day – check your mammogram report to empower yourself with this information, talk to your doctor if you have questions, and remind all the women in your life to do the same. At Exai, we are motivated every day to advance our blood test to detect breast cancer early.
