Dear Pilgrim,

Many in a bid to correct the notion of a "poor church" have resorted to feeding the Lord's sheep with food that creates a lust for mammon. You cannot correct a perceived injustice with unrighteousness. The milk of the Word that powers spiritual growth must remain sincere.

Now, according to the lusts and itching ears of a generation, in the Lord's house, the menu includes popular "delicacies" like:

"Think money. Jesus, while on earth, needed money to finance His crusades. The name of Jesus is heavy, and money is needed to lift it. The gospel cannot advance without money. Money must be the center of the Christian's life, for a rich sinner is better than a poor prayer warrior. In all thy getting, get money!"

Meanwhile, this is the bait of satan. He has come to the earth with great wrath, knowing he has but a short time. So, he manifests as an angel of light. It looks harmless, feels harmless, and even sounds harmless. But without doubt, many will be pierced with great sorrows. Not only in this life but the next.

The Lord's command has not changed. A man's life does not consist of the abundance of goods that he possesses.

There's a pain in the Lord's heart, and He weeps for His Bride. But, many who claim to name His name still say, "If He is so unhappy, why hasn't He done anything about it?"

Fear not! The wait won't be too long now!!
Soon, the Day of the Lord will be here. In that day, the Lord's wrath will be fully expressed.
Until then, we watch, we pray, and we wait.
You just make sure that your garment is spotless and your heart undivided. Make sure you meet your Lord, blameless.
