I believe lower education is where the breakage starts. You can’t expect higher education to be anything but broken. The learned used to be called men of letters. They read, wrote and thought and dedicated themselves to learning. In lower education they are not taught to do anything but learn by wrote, do little learning on their own. They aren’t even taught how to learn. You can’t expect higher education to build a person of letters if the prior 12 years they were treated as boxes to filled with facts rather than minds to be sharpened.
