Doc Rivers talks about what people fail to recognize about Steph Curry:
"I think the thing that people miss the most with Steph because he's this nice guy, he does all the charitable work, everything he says is right, like he's the most coachable star and one day we're going to have a podcast about that 'Why Steph has won over some of the other guys?' and because I'm a coach, I really believe a lot of it is he allowed himself to be coached and I think that's part of it, but what we miss with him is he's a stone-cold-blooded killer, just like Kobe and Michael. He just doesn't come off that way, but he's exactly like them and people miss that with him. They misforecast him, his toughness and his grit, they really do."
Bryce Young since he was benched in 2024:
• 5208 total yards
• 42 touchdowns
• 15 interceptions
• 91.3 passer rtg
• 10 game winning drives
• broke the franchise single game passing yards record

My favorite versions of superstars are usually the time right after their peaks, where they’re still in their “prime” but relying more on skill & IQ.
08-10 Kobe
16-18 Bron
21 KD
21 Steph
2nd Three Peat Mike
Steph is at a level of mastery offensively that resembles 98’ MJ.
Just absolute control at all times. Knows exactly when and how to expend his energy.
He as great as anyone who’s ever played this game.
