Interesting news, Wim Wenders has withdrawn his film Wrong Move from ciculation because of the inclusion of nudity of then-13 year old Nastassja Kinski.
Is it time Hammer's To the Devil A Daughter was re-cut for featuring a nude 14 year old Kinski?

@sorcererpds@hammerfilms Thanks. It's where the Hammer story really begins - and I wouldn't be surprised if John Gore reopens a path to Hammer theatre before long.
New Addition to the collection - around 80 programmes from Will Hammer's theatre offerings.
Haven't filed them yet - a few dupes of stuff I already have, but lots of new pieces.
Exploring @hammerfilms' theatre connections is my next big project.
Ed Wood's infamous Plan 9 From Outer Space is out on BD from @BFI on 7 Sep.
Even better, release includes BRIDE OF THE MONSTER, which was handled by Exclusive Films on its original UK release.
A must have.

@dukeofnewyork3@hammerfilms I get it! There's several I've had to hold off on too. Compared to where we were 10/20 years ago we're spoilt.
I understand as Ltd editions sell out, we will see standard sets.
Break in the Circle is next up on Hammer's 4k restorations, and it's another #ExclusiveFilms title too!
This early colour thriller from @hammerfilms has never had a home video release before.
Can't wait to see what they've done with the restoration.

@dukeofnewyork3@hammerfilms Many of the older films hadn't had their video masters updated since the early 80s. The current company really cares about doing it right, and thinking about the long-term.
There's been some shorts on the packages that I think really help justify the spending.
I'm currently putting together something that will untangle the web and correct the mythology.
Stay tuned over the coming weeks for the reveal.
Meanwhile, if any of Donlevy's living relatives are out there - please get in touch !
I've been doing a bit of a deep dive into Brian Donlevy's origins.
Most of you might recall him as the original @hammerfilms Quatermass.
But stories about his early days are muddied. Conflicting reports suggesting he was born in Ohio, or more facifully, Ireland.
Being an Irishman myself I've long wondered about the truth and have been picking apart the myth and reality for some time.
It's all far more muddy than I ever thought. But I think I've finally got some definitive answers, with receipts.
@MartyRossWriter@LSoHmag I think part of it is the network of contacts Dick built up over 50 years - interviews and access with people long-gone. Its not as simple as just handing it over.
LSOH might be a team effort, but its very much DK's baby.
No doubt others will continue to publish elsewhere
Dick Klemensen's @LSoHmag is closing its doors for the final time this year.
A genuinely sad event. I haven't written for the mag in some years, but proud to have published in it.
The Hammer Films community owes Dick a massive thanks for keeping the flame burning for so long.
I regret to inform you that Ask Jeeves is dead. The site closed yesterday. Web 1.0 lost another founder.
Ask Jeeves: 3 June 1996 - 1 May 2026. Send no memes.
A previously unknown US version of @hammerfilms' 1947 short thriller Crime Reporter has been identified and recovered by @exclusivephd
