@XamanWallet Do not believe for one second that this wallet is secure!! It is not! So tired of the BS these guys are saying about your keys your wallet. See how you feel when your entire account disappears one evening and you had nothing to do with it. I have verified that there was no security breach on my end. Xaman will not provide any information about the hack other than too bad it’s your fault!! Customer service is a joke. This company has no transparency, integrity and lacks all honesty. They clearly have something to hide. Is it really your keys when they are the ones that design the entire system? It is not to much to ask them to provide basic information regarding the transaction. I have filed a report with the FBI hoping that they will investigate the thief and this company for their actions. Please do not trust this wallet. You will regret dealing with them. Just like I have.
@StandUpForFact Never!!!! Trey is a full blown rino who is anti Trump. He ran the Bengazi report and did not even have the guts to express his own opinion. He told people to read the report and decide for them shelves. I was a fan until I discovered he was all talk and no action!
True self custody is the way to go. Xaman does not have true self custody. When their wallet can be hacked and you lose your XRP you will be saying “how can this happen”? You know you never shared your original keys with anyone. Your phone was not compromised or replaced. You thought your XRP was secure. Will it’s NOT!! Xaman will not provide you with any information about the transaction and the theft. You will receive zero transparency, honesty or integrity when dealing with them. You will not get any notifications that a transaction is going through or even occurred. You will look at it one day and it will be empty. Please do not use this wallet!! It is not secure like they pretend it is. Lack of transparency breeds fraudulent behavior. I wonder what Xaman employee was short on funds and used their knowledge about the wallet they designed to empty my account? When they do no investigation and the only email you get is too bad it’s your fault on initial contact that should tell you everything you need to know about them. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!
Thank god!! I am not a fan at all of the government, period!! But when you have a company like Xaman who has zero transparency, no honesty, no customer service or concern for the account holder, the American people have to have a way to protect the citizens. To be able to lie and say they are the most secure wallet available and deceive customers there is no place for a company like this. To this date Xaman has completely ignored my request for basic information about the hack / thief of my XRP. The only official response I received from them was to say not their fault. I did have someone that appeared to be from Xaman ask to Dm them (which I did) and they never replied. So yes I am grateful that some protections are going into place. Hopefully it will save other people like me that had over 6 digits of XRP’s stolen will never have to be financially destroyed. I’m still hoping the FBI will investigate the hack. Still more than possible it was an internal issue. If you are still using this wallet PLEASE move it out quickly before you also become a victim. Does anyone really believe they will get a fincen license??? No way
It is more than increased scammers. It is Xaman’s lack of transparency, customer support and honesty!! There is ZERO reason why Xanan can not provide information to an account holder who was hacked and your first and only response is to blame the victim of the thief! Until Xaman takes any responsibility for their actions or lack there of, nobody should trust or use this wallet. Don’t be a fool like me who believed that Xaman was a place to secure your XRP only to have it stolen. Not your keys not your crypto….not when you use a Xaman wallet. They create the wallet, they know everything about it, sure would be easy enough to access it if they wanted to. I wonder how many other victims of thief lost all of their XRP like me?
It is impossible to reverse a transaction on the XRPl once it is done. Every single one of these scammers saying they can help you get you XRP back is lying and is attempting to steal even more from you. Do not fall for it. Do not use Xaman wallets either. They advertise it as being safe and secure and I can prove it is not. Sorry about the thief but joint the club of innocent people getting scammed and falling for help on X. I really wish these people would get what’s coming to them and maybe someday they will.
Great news with all the options! Too back this wallet is easily hacked and Xaman provides ZERO customer support. Don’t plan on any assistance from customer support. They will instantly blame you for any issue you have without any internal investigation. Run away from using this wallet unless you want your funds stolen. It does not matter how great they say this wallet is if you can not trust a company that has zero integrity you will also get burned. I have never had a worse experience dealing with a company like this. Do yourself a favor and find a different wallet. It is the only way you will also not be regretting using it like I did.
For anyone who is following me about the Xaman wallet hack. After I post a warning about this wallet you will see several people say “just contact this person, they can help you”. Every single one has been a scam. There is no help receiving funds from the XRPL once the transaction has occurred. It cannot be reversed. Should the FBI arrest the hackers and force restitution you may be able to get some back. That is it. Please do not fall for these scammers. It will only cost you more funds and loss of hope. I am only talking about the XRPL and its design for transactions being final once they occur. I do not know about other chains. That is why scammers feed on this blockchain. People hear Bitcoin can be reversed and think XRP also can be. I have reached out back to Xaman several times and still have received zero information and the theft of my funds. My mission is now to help as many people as I can avoid this wallet so that you also do not lose your funds. So when these scammer say they can help you with D apps or developer intervention or some other BS or want you to pay a fee to collect your stolen funds IT IS A LIE AND A SCAM.
Xaman wallets are not secure. My wallet got hacked with no security failure on my end. zero transparency, zero customer support and zero accountability. See o not use this wallet if you want to control your funds. I have asked for reason information regarding my thief and Xaman can only ignor and blame me with no internal investigation. Sure would be easy tor the wallet developer to access their own design and take whatever funds they want. I have asked for a FbI investigation into this company. Please save yourself the trouble and do not use this wallet.
Do your research before using this wallet! My wallet was hacked. The breach was not on my end. Xaman refused to provide the basic information on hack. They only blame you . Customer service does not exist. Zero transparency from this wallet. Please don’t get scammed using this wallet. I don’t care that they have been around for a while. If you can not protect customers account you do not deserve to be in business. I will be regretting the rest of my life trusting and using this wallet. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
I have investigated my end. Every single aspect of it. It all came back clean. How about your end? Why don’t you provide the information that you have. Such as:
1. Who was the owner of the wallet that my funds when to?
2. Where is this account holder located at?
3. I p address location?
4. VPN used?
5. Why was I not notified that a transaction was as occurring? Uphold and coinbase provide the security.
6. Why does it take 24+ hours to respond to requests?
7. Why isn’t more effort done through the wallet about your customer support and the fraud that occurs on X of people pretending to be associated with Xaman. This does not occur with uphold or coinbase.
8. Saying sorry it happened does nothing to help transparency about this wallet.
Do you have any interest in providing this information? Why should anyone trust this wallet when the very basic information is not provided to help your customers when hacking occurs.
I’ll ask again. Please provide just one way that anyone gave you assistance in recovering a hack instead of just saying contact some name that you are promoting. Exact what did they do to recover your funds! Best advertising is results. It is not believable without giving at least one thing they did.
@inklinghsus I have received several responses back offering a way to “help me”. Every single one has been another fraud. I guess people think if you have been hacked you are stupid or something. If you can help why don’t you provide me and everyone else reading how you can “Help” someone who got hacked from using a Xaman wallet. If you can’t give me how you can get funds returned once the transaction has occurred on the XRPL then that would help everyone also realize it is not possible. I recommend anyone that has gotten hacked to ask this question. Then let Grok explain if it is a viable solution. Since it is impossible to reverse the transaction on the XRPL everyone can be entertained with your solution. You are not the only person saying “If only you get back to me” I can help.

Transparency would be to disclose all information possible when you are notified that a customers wallet was hacked. Not waited over 24 hours and replying to your customer to bad it’s your fault. No investigation, no further contact nothing. Sure would be easy for an insider of Xaman to steal customers crypto and no one is the wiser. Your keys your crypto does not apply to the Xaman wallet. No one should trust the Xaman wallet unless you want to lose your crypto.
It is a big mistake to trust this wallet. My wallet got hacked and I followed all of the proper protocols. Xaman customer service was nonexistent. Their only response was it was my fault end of customer service. Save yourself the nightmare I went through and don’t use this wallet.
You could help customers who got their wallets hacked by providing information about the hackers instead of blaming the customer that it was their fault without any investigation. My experience in business is when a company denies any responsibility right out the gate, besides being extremely poor customer service, they normally have culpability in the matter. Until Xaman provides transparency I would never use this wallet. It does not matter how many years you have been in business if you can not provide trust in your product your business should not survive.
Never trust this wallet. There is no transparency with what they do. My wallet was hacked. No breach was detected on my end. They create the wallet, have the info, established the keys to each account and preform KYC. Since there first reaction to the notification that a wallet was hacked is to tell the customer it is there fault without any investigation it raises red flags. Is it so far of a reach to have an internal investigation and audit when a customer has been hacked? It seems like it would be pretty easy for them to steal your funds and have no one held accountable when they hold all the info to steal it. Stay away from this wallet if you want to keep your money. They don’t care about you or any customers.
