Le 11 septembre 2001, les États-Unis ont fermé leur espace aérien après les attentats terroristes. Les vols vers les US ont dû changer de route et plusieurs ont atterri au Canada. Sous l’Opération Ruban jaune, Gander (T.-N.-L.) et ses villes voisines ont accueilli 38 avions.

On Thanksgiving, I appreciate that I live in Canada. Canada gave me the rights and freedom which was banned in Iran under Sharia Law.
