Such terribly sad news. Hazel and her family have been a massively positive part of our club and community for many years and she will be deeply missed.
Our thoughts are with Terry, Di, and all of Hazel’s family and close friends at this time.
Forever a Grecian ❤️🤍
All at Exeter City were deeply saddened to learn of the recent and sudden passing of Hazel Bound ❤️
A long-standing season ticket holder and Trust member, Hazel was a familiar and much-loved presence at Exeter City men’s and women’s matches for decades. Always among the first to arrive at St James Park, she was known for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to the club she loved.
Hazel’s dedication, generosity, and loyalty to Exeter City and the wider community will be remembered with enormous affection by all who knew her.
Our thoughts are with her husband Terry, sister Di, and all of Hazel’s family and friends at this deeply sad time.

22nd Annual five-a-Side International Tournament – Kick Racism Out of Football (Kick It Out)
Exeter International Football Club, in partnership with Exeter City Community Trust, is organising a special international World Cup-style football tournament.
The 22nd annual summer five-a-side tournament will take place on Sunday 14 June 2026 and will once again celebrate diversity within the local community.
The competition encourages participation from local Black and minority ethnic teams and attracts players from many different parts of the world.
Previous winners have included teams representing Poland, Slovakia, Afghanistan and Lithuania.
The tournament was established more than 20 years ago by Exeter International United FC and Exeter City Community Trust and continues to receive support from the @UniofExeter, which is hosting this year’s event. @ECFCST is also proudly supporting the tournament.
The organisers are backing the national Kick It Out campaign, which aims to tackle all forms of discrimination and racism in football.

Shout out to Jamie and the team who are out running the The Great West Run today to raise funds for direct support here in Exeter.
Last year, your generosity helped to fund provision for children and families in need during the holidays; to help those who are homeless or in risk of homelessness in the city; and to provide support for some of the more elderly members of our community.
If you’d like to support our runners today, even if it’s a small amount, every bit helps to make a difference to our city 🙏

Throwback to the Great West run 2025 where your kindness helped us raise £3,024 for those in need across Exeter.

Congratulations to Jack Fitzwater, who has been named as @OfficialECFC's @PFA Community Champion for the 2025/26 season.
Through his support of the Royal Devon University Healthcare @NHS Foundation Trust and the @UniofExeter's ‘Know Your Sh*t’ campaign, Jack has gone above and beyond in showing the impact of football in the community by raising awareness of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, which affect 1 in 100 people in the UK.
At a club that puts the community at the heart of all that it does, Jack has represented himself and the club superbly through this initiative and is hugely deserving of this year's award.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Big Sleep Out at St James Park - braving the cold on the Big Bank to stand in solidarity with people facing homelessness in Exeter.
Thanks to your incredible efforts, more than £5,500 has been raised for our Supported Housing programme - helping people rebuild their lives, maintain tenancies and move towards independence.
With 51 people recorded as sleeping rough in Exeter last year – the highest figure on record – the need for support has never been greater.
👏 To everyone who took part, donated or supported from afar - you’ve made a real difference. Together, we can continue to provide safe accommodation, guidance and hope for those who need it most.

Another hugely positive milestone for the King George V Playing Fields Project.
We are delighted to receive this contribution from Exeter City Council, who we have worked closely with to develop a plan for this project.
Alongside the funding from the Football Foundation, and support from Fields in Trust, this significant contribution means the project is a reality.
Our thanks to all who have supported this work, and we look forward to sharing further updates on this collaborative programme, which seeks to achieve positive outcomes for city residents and the local community.
Councillors have approved nearly £465,000 towards a major upgrade of this much-loved community sports hub, working in partnership with Exeter City Community Trust.
