Me: I’m so ready to quit and leave
Me, again: *realizes college costs money and I have no other job and little money in bank account and prepaid (college fund) is going to run out after I graduate in May (but I’m continuing my education after May) and cries as I clock in*
We had a #dearcustomer complain that we should be a 24/7 McDonald’s. We don’t have the staff and we have such a high turnover for people quitting that there’s no way in hell we could last as a 24/7 place.
I really hope I get that seasonal job at Target just so I can see what the managers might do when I tell them I quit. I’m probably one of the few loyal enployees there.
I worked 22 hours this past weekend. My body is exhausted, I’m tired, and my legs and feet still hurt from all that standing. 22 hours in 2 days is not worth the money.
So instead of working my scheduled 9 hour shift today, I agreed to work 12 hours from 5am to 5pm. I got home 30 ago minutes and I already took my shower. I can’t feel my feet and I’m too exhausted to even eat. And I have a 10 hour scheduled shift tomorrow from 6am to 4pm. Kill me
Just a heads up for any #dearcustomers out there, pumpkin spice is a flavor not a coffee. So don’t just go and order a large pumpkin spice. Please input the type of drink after saying pumpkin spice. Us order takers aren’t mind readers.
So I thought I saw every kind of #dearcustomer until yesterday when in the passenger seat of one of the cars a mom was changing her baby’s diaper. Like seriously?
I got home from work an hour ago after working 5:30 to 4. As I was in the shower I noticed a small burn mark on my upper arm. It could’ve easily come from the door of the oven that bakes the cookies, pies, etc. I don’t remember burning myself. You’d really think I would but nope.
#dearcustomer: can I get a large vanilla iced coffee with no sugar?
Me: so the regular vanilla syrup has sugar in it, did you want the sugar free vanilla?
Customer: no I just don’t want more sugar
Me: 🤨
Each shift is making me more and more grateful about the degree path I’m going down to become a crime scene technician. A majority of the people that I will be dealing with will be dead.
