These scriptures ONLY make sense if we apply a Preterist view of the Bible because NOT ALL Christians are persecuted in our day — in fact only a tiny MINORITY are! WT tries to apply them to modern days but it clearly DOESN'T fit as they ONLY applied to those in the FIRST century!
