Had a letter from us in the post? It may be a scam…
We've become aware of a phishing attempt targeting our customers through postal mail. The letters look official, claiming there's been a data breach and urging readers to call an 0800 number. Here’s the real deal - it’s a scam.
@AmjadDadda Hi, I appreciate your concern, we would normally ask for details so we can check that the message you received related to your account. If you would rather not supply these details over email you would be able to contact us via the app while logged in. Thanks, Neil.
@AmjadDadda We ask for the minimum amount required to verify your details, such as your name, date of birth and address. This would be tied to an account on record, so we can then verify your details. As credit reports contain a lot of sensitive information, we need to be sure it's you. 2/2
