जब हमने वक्फ बोर्ड को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दायर की थी, तो कोर्ट ने हमसे पूछा था कि हम सीधे सुप्रीम कोर्ट क्यों आए और सुझाव दिया था कि हमें हाई कोर्ट जाना चाहिए, और हमें कोई अंतरिम राहत नहीं मिली, जबकि अलग-अलग हाई कोर्ट में 140 से ज्यादा याचिकाएं दायर की गई हैं। अब क्या मापदंड है कि कोई दूसरा पक्ष सुप्रीम कोर्ट आए और उनकी न सिर्फ सुनवाई हो बल्कि अंतरिम आदेश से जुड़ी बातें भी कही जाएं? पिछले 13 सालों से - हिंदू मंदिरों के अधिग्रहण से संबंधित 4 राज्यों के हिंदू बंदोबस्ती अधिनियम की सुनवाई सुप्रीम कोर्ट में चल रही थी और हाल ही में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा कि ये मामले हाई कोर्ट में होने चाहिए और पूछा कि हम (सुप्रीम कोर्ट) ऐसे मामलों की सुनवाई क्यों करें। मेरा सुझाव है कि (वक्फ संशोधन अधिनियम के संबंध में) सभी मामलों को एक ही हाई कोर्ट में ले जाया जाना चाहिए और 6 महीने के भीतर मामलों की सुनवाई के लिए एक संवैधानिक पीठ का गठन किया जाना चाहिए।
