@davepl1968 Highly recommend moxa converters we usually use the POE wired ones but they make great wifi models and I can confirm hardware flow control and a bunch of esoteric rs232 stuff works brilliantly and the drivers are stable and trustworthy. Used a ton for industrial automation.
@thurrott Also on some systems when you enable the intune policy or GPO to force this to happen and to force auto sign in, it just never does or only tries once and then gives up forever. Super inconsistent.
@Snubs Abode has been really stable for me but not sure how it deals with pets. Also had a window alarm trigger when the sticky pad failed and it fell off the wall so might be good to screw in instead of stick on any new sensors just in case.
@Snubs Subscription but I have been using abode for 5 years @goabode and it integrates well and is very flexible, but I'm on a legacy plan that's got cellular backup but not monitoring. I don't use it for cameras at all only for sensors/alarm.
