Saudi Arabia is planning to build the world's first "sky stadium," officially named the NEOM Stadium, integrated into the futuristic city of The Line. It will be suspended 350 meters (1,150 feet) above the ground, feature 46,000 seats, and use renewable energy. The stadium is slated to open around 2032 and will host matches, up to the quarterfinals, for the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

JOS WILDLIFE PARK:
A NEW DAWN UNDER GOVERNOR MUTFWANG.
This piece is not just a rebuttal to the baseless lies peddled by a faceless liar, hiding behind the pseudonym Ogbonnaya Okoro, whose misinformation has sparked public concerns about the state of animals in Jos Wildlife Park - sadly amplified by some bloggers who failed to fact-check before sharing it. I am delighted to tell you that the park is undergoing a remarkable transformation, and I pridefully declare that the era of neglected animals ended with the previous administration.
1. Since assuming office, one of Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s most significant actions has been the substantial increase in funding for animal feeding and park maintenance. The animals are now well-fed and thriving. On my visit for example, I was surprised to see left over meat in the cage of those hyenas situated directly opposite the elephant enclosure. They ate to their satisfaction before laying down with their bulbous bellies, having a time of their lives.
In addition, here are more transformative strides being made, in no particular order:
2. Construction of a 17-kilometer perimeter fence to secure the park, enhancing security and curbing poaching.
3. To support reforestation efforts, five solar-powered boreholes have been constructed to provide a sustainable water source. Additionally, the park now has one overhead tank near the pine forest and a surface tank close to the administrative building. Water pipes have been reticulated to every necessary location, ensuring all animal enclosures have a reliable water supply.
Apart from planting new trees, economic trees have also been introduced to enhance biodiversity and sustainability. The park's water infrastructure has been significantly improved.
4. Tasteful renovation of the Park Museum and gift shops. The museum now features a renovated mini-conference room accommodating 30 to 50 people, upgraded with multimedia equipment and solar electrification.
5. Ongoing renovation of the administrative block, restaurant, Green Room, and other key areas.
6. Construction of several restrooms at strategic locations within the park for visitor convenience.
7. Provision of a new Toyota Land Cruiser 70 double-cabin pick-up truck to improve operational efficiency.
8. Provision of motorcycles to facilitate movement and enhance surveillance within the park.
9. Installation of CCTV cameras to monitor critical activities like animal feeding and improve security.
10. Supply of maintenance equipment, including lawnmowers and cultivators, for better park upkeep.
11. Provision of consumables and cleaning agents to maintain hygiene in animal enclosures.
12. Supply of kits for game guards and animal attendants to enhance their working conditions.
13. Collaboration with security agencies to address unlawful activities and ensure the park's safety.
14. Ongoing design and development of internal access roads and safari tracks within the Jos Wildlife Park. This project will enhance accessibility, making navigation more seamless and enjoyable.
Governor Mutfwang’s interventions are not only reshaping the park but also restoring its reputation as a treasured landmark in Plateau State. With these ongoing improvements, Jos Wildlife Park is set for a thriving ecosystem, an enhanced visitor experience, and renewed pride among staff and guests.
