My unsolicited advise to law students is to remain grounded in what law is, as applied by courts, rather than what law ought to be or reads as. Constitution can be the guiding force but BNS, BNSS and CPC will humble you and your notions about rights and entitlements every single day.
Govt of Maharastra Says - Major Relief for Transfer of Family Property!
The Revenue Department of the Government has issued an important notification under the Registration Act, 1908. Under this, if residential or agricultural property is transferred to husband, wife, son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, or the wife of a deceased son through a gift deed, only ₹200 will be charged as registration fee for that document.
This decision will make the transfer of family property more convenient, cost-effective, and citizen-friendly. Additionally, the expenses incurred in this process will be saved, providing major relief to the common people.
“Mithibai se BAF jaisa nalla 2 takke ka raddi course karke Morgan Stanley mein FP&A ki 20 lakh ki job isi liye mili hai kyuki hiring manager Mehta, Team lead Jain aur HR Agarwal hai vats”
This is how many get their jobs but then they call it as merit
India is now manufacturing its own containers.
before BJP government it was practically building 0 containers, now 30000 annually.
our target is 7.5 lakh annually.
Word for caution for the govt.
It’s easy to outwit a bunch of amateurs, who don’t even know how to maintain the right optics. But the ruling party should know we are sitting on a heap of gunpowder. How easy it was to organise a large protest, using the algorithm of Instagram, that threatened the govt.
Next time, there will be a smarter bunch utilising the same plumbing to come at you.
1) Keep listening to core issues on ground. Address it quickly.
2) Keep your safety switches in place.
3) Intelligence & Police forces should have a SoP to handle such viral protests fuelled by social media.
Meta has just demonstrated that American Big Tech can cut off Prime Minister's line of communication from Indian masses during wars and internal disturbances. Now, it is calling the drill as a glitch.
The level of petty corruption in our trial courts is staggering.
Pay the sristedar to get your report processed.
Pay someone to move your file from the record room to the courtroom.
Pay the peshkar if you want a short date.
Pay the stenographer if you want your judgment typed on time.
People often blame only judges. But corruption in the justice system isn't always judge-centric. A court functions through an entire ecosystem. If the judge is honest but the registry, court staff, stenographer, peshkar, or peons are corrupt, the litigant still experiences a corrupt court.
Judicial reform cannot stop at the Bench. It has to reach every desk inside the courtroom.
Demonetisation (2016) - 3 years before Elections
Farm law protest (2021) - 3 years before Elections
NEET Protest (2026) - 3 years before Elections
This govt is lucky to get the buffer time.
