It’s hard to get as excited for the start of the school year as usual, but it helps to have great coworkers and leaders who remind you to take care of yourself first! @McCarthyM_JES gave us time for that & I jogged last @ASFSOnline. Truly missing all the Jtown students & staff!
I am so excited about this and looking forward to watching. @AndrechikMary @APS_EarlyChild @JamestownReads @McCarthyM_JES @adm_crjackson @EdLeaderShana
Day 14(?): We usually have students lead science experiments once a week. It’s one of our favorite parts of the week, so we’re hoping our kids who didn’t get a chance yet will still share one on @Seesaw!
We think it's Day 12? The days are blending together. Come share a book recommendation with @JamestownAPS second grade using @Flipgrid https://t.co/UHjHyLclmS
You know you’re lucky when you go to school to pick up materials and your co-teacher gives you a pack of TP! Don’t worry, we kept our distance! #coteaching#remotelearning#wewantedtohug
Day 9: We asked Ss to find a plant, flower, or leaf that is just starting to sprout, and to observe it over the next week and take pictures, make notes, or draw changes they see on @Seesaw. What a perfect time to be studying plant life cycles! #remotelearning#outdoorlearning
Day 8: Today we shared a read-aloud of Library Lion by @michelleknudsen and asked Ss to write a story starting with “One day a lion came to our classroom...” These days it doesn’t sound like the craziest thing to happen to a class! We can’t wait to see our Ss’ work on @Seesaw!
Day 7: we missed yesterday, devastated that we won’t be returning this school year! Many people need a note of encouragement. Write a friendly letter to a friend, neighbor, teacher or family member. Post @Seesaw
Day 5: we may not be at school today but you can still have @geniushour at home! What are you going to research or create today? We have been researching the Solar System and making a model of the planets! Show us here or on @Seesaw @APSPersonalized @JamestownAPS
Day 3: https://t.co/WCUxn0niTU here is a great resource for all the virtual read-alouds! What are you reading today? We are reading a lot of Piggie and Gerald!
Day 2 of school at home - here is a twist on an @Exemplars question we love:
Chairs have legs. People have legs. How many legs are in your house?
For our kiddos - share your thinking in @Seesaw!

Day 1 of school at home. We have many students that love LEGO! Here is a fun challenge. Post a picture of what you built in comments or post in @Seesaw credit:https://t.co/mVhCI3V2Pg
