The hijab? Explicitly permitted. With colour instructions. And tutorial videos promised to staff.

When the document went viral, CEO Peyush Bansal called it "inaccurate." X's Community Note corrected him — the document was company-branded, dated February 2026. He then shifted: it was an "outdated training document" with an "incorrect line" that was "discovered and removed on February 17, well before this became public."
That story collapsed within 24 hours.

Akash Falake, a Lenskart store manager in Pune, had emails. He had flagged the exact same policy to Lenskart HR in writing on November 25, 2025. Senior HR was informed again on December 8. Through January and February 2026, store audits were actively cutting salaries of employees who wore bindis or tikas.

Giving a thought to the possible solutions, vaccinating some 8 crore dogs sounds great in your drawing room setting . In reality, try chasing down one street dog with a needle and multiply that by crores.

And even if vaccinated, the dogs minds won’t suddenly turn into gentle deer like —they’ll still tear children apart. Only difference: now the kids will die with their throats ripped out, but without rabies.

And with regard to cleanliness drives expecting the system to sterilize crores of dogs and maintain perfect garbage hygiene is like expecting pigs to wear pants.

Coming to adoption , the dog lovers who cry hoarse about compassion are the same people buying foreign breeds to keep them in luxury houses which are well looked after by expensive vets . Just try to tell the dog lovers to take stray dogs in exchange for their pedigreed breeds

Talking about community feeding , when the dog lovers feed strays in one spot, they will gather in packs and become highly territorial and start attacking passersby—children, cyclists, delivery boys, even old people because they then will see humans as “intruders” near their feeding zone. Just remember how even your pet dog seems to get aggressive when feeding

While feeding, many dog lovers get bitten themselves but don’t report it, treating it as a “love bite.” but Rabies spreads silently through these uncontrolled packs, endangering the entire neighborhood

Feeding usually happens on street corners, garbage heaps, or outside temples.
Food scraps mix with sewage and rotting matter—turning into putrid, disease-breeding sludge and the Stray packs will wallow in this filth and then wander into the streets spreading diseases

Relocation won’t work either because Dogs are territorial. If they’re fed in one colony and then relocated, they will invade another colony, fighting local packs
