@itsvurro @erik_engquist @usopen Even US open pricing is insane and “dynamic” as you can see the original price of tickets if you go to buy but don’t. Cheapest grounds passes price was $161 which is still outrageous and the fees of $50-$500 per ticket are even more unhinged.

Do away with dynamic pricing and go back to $50-$75 for a grounds pass and $50 tickets in the last few rows of Ashe. Not $400-$600 like I was seeing in resale.

I blame it on greed from @Ticketmaster & @usopen & both should be charged with price gouging by @NYCMayor & @GovKathyHochul @NewYorkStateAG - the fees Ticketmaster are charging are outrageous- no other slam or tournament does this.

@radio_RG Love Serena Williams, but she does not have a chance to win 2 more slams. Also, if she comes back, it will mean more PR for her GLP1. I would bet it has a little more to do with this. Side note, I would argue that Monica Seles was the greatest women’s tennis player.

@mattracquet The queue is good fun and you can get excellent seats for under $250 on centre court. Roland-Garros doesn’t allow this awful reselling. US open is completely unaffordable. I just saw $900 Ashe seats for upper deck.

I wish people would boycott these prices, but clearly some people are purchasing.

@usopen The @Ticketmaster @AmericanExpress presale is a joke. There are only resale tickets selling for double or more. Grounds passes that sold for $161 are selling for $300 plus $51 in fees. A nosebleed Ashe ticket that was $204.69 is now selling for $624 plus $118.56 in fees.
