AI adoption is rising. Trust is not.

Usage does not equal confidence, and adoption does not equal permission. Leaders need to ask whether AI creates durable value, not just whether people are using it.

My take: AI’s Popularity Paradox.

#Malware in ##GitHub Repos can hide behind normal setup instructions, tricking developers and #AI coding agents into running harmful commands. The deeper problem is speed over quality: more code, produced faster, without QA review, #Cybersecurity, and release controls.

Oops aI did it again. . . . In the rush to replace human workers and reduce the costs we are creating a bigger problem for everyone.

@MaryamNSharif That is a high risk move. Connecting a LLM with a security network is not advisable at this time.

A machine quietly fixes the system.
The human nearby doesn’t code—it watches.

In the age of AI, the real upgrade isn’t faster tech.
It’s a slower, deeper human.

The Dunning-Kruger effect is real in IT. Too many believe they’re experts, while #security postures crumble. The industry glorifies mavericks, but true cyber maturity requires discipline, education, and structure. Time for a reality check #AWS #Cloud #Microsoft #FTC

If secure coding practices were taught as early as middle school, imagine how different the #CyberSecurity landscape would look. We’re investing in the wrong areas—IT teams need proper education, not just quick fixes #AWS #Cloud #Microsoft #SDLC

Schools and universities need to overhaul their undergrad programs. Two years on leveling courses won’t help us build the cyber professionals we need. #CyberSecurity, secure development, and real-world IT skills should be at the core from day one. #IT #education

If cars had the same standards as some software today, we'd all be in trouble. Let's demand higher quality in the tech we rely on. #AWS #Cloud #Microsoft #FTC #FCC #CyberSecurityAwareness

The energy sector #cyberattacks serves as a wake-up call—critical infrastructure is in the crosshairs. How are your cybersecurity teams protecting essential services? A breach here can impact everything from stock prices to national security. #Cloud #Microsoft #October

The majority of IT pros lack proper certifications, and even fewer hold college degrees. This skills gap is one reason why today’s #cybersecurity crisis exists. We need better training at all levels to truly defend against modern threats. #IT #education

With state-sponsored cyber espionage rising, CEOs must evaluate their supply chain risks. These attacks often target critical infrastructure. How are you securing third-party access to sensitive data? #Cloud #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth #October

The "talent" will be expected to work around the clock—weekends, holidays, 2am or 2pm—won’t matter. They'll face impossible odds: understaffed, underfunded, seen as a cost burden. And when things go wrong, as they will due to poorly developed code by the lowest bidder, everyone, including the law, will try to pin the blame on them.

Don't try to pay your taxes with Costco gift cards or #Dogecoin. It's a scammer trying to scam you. They're great for memes, but #Crypto won't cut it for Uncle Sam. Check out this funny and action packed video. #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth
