Prayers are nice. Actually getting to a voting booth is better. For far too long, Republican voters don’t show up the way Democrats do. That has to change! Get off your butts, grab your like-minded friends that haplessly sit on their asses and angrily shake their fists at the TV when they see another Dem win and drag down the Silver State!
VOTE!
Vote because the lives of your country, your state, your family and you, depend on it.
Also, push for VOTER ID!
Just looking at Vinny’s leftist rhetoric on X tells me teo things about Vinny:
1) He should never hold any kind of public office in the United States, let alone Nevada. If he wants to push his socialist agenda (He parrots all of Bernie’s talking points) he should move to some where in the EU.
2) I shudder to think about the leftist dogma he indoctrinates uoung minds at the high school where he is a social studies “teacher”.
NO on Vinny and get this guy out of public education.
Gavin Newsom's contributions to the people of California since becoming Governor:
1. Homelessness Crisis — Spent over $20 billion with homelessness rising sharply; California now has nearly half the nation’s unhoused population.
2. COVID Lockdowns + Hypocrisy — Imposed strict, prolonged lockdowns while dining unmasked at the French Laundry.
3. Unemployment Fraud — Billions in fraudulent unemployment payments due to poor oversight by the EDD.
4. High-Speed Rail Failure — Billions spent with virtually no track laid after nearly 20 years.
5. Highest Cost of Living — Highest gas, electricity, and housing costs in the country, driving people and businesses out.
6. Wildfire Mismanagement — Inadequate forest clearing and prevention efforts despite repeated deadly fires.
7. Education Decline — Large majorities of students failing to meet basic math and reading standards.
8. Massive Spending & Deficits — Dramatic increase in state spending that created ongoing budget shortfalls.
9. Crime Policies — Policies like Prop 47 widely blamed for contributing to retail theft and reduced prosecution.
10. Corruption Scandals — Multiple aides and appointees charged or convicted of fraud and corruption during his administration.
If you want these kinds of horrific failures to come to the Silver State, vote for Newsom's pal, Aaron Ford.
Or better yet, stand up for our great state, get off your butt, harrass your friends to get off their butts, and VOTE for Lombardo!
NO ON FORD!
@atensnut Blah blah blah. Everyone “likes” on X. Posts their little memes or GIFs and then does fuck all. No one takes action except leftists. That’s how they captured NYC and why they will continue to spread like the flesh-eating bacteria they are.
The choice is clear:
If you want Nevada to be like California; vote for Ford and let the leftist takeover begin. More crime. More homelessness. More fraud. More leftist ideological capture.
If you want Nevada to keep getting better and help with the Presidential election in 2028, vote Lombardo.
I think most people have already decided as the parties are more tribal and weaponized than ever.
So my refrain remains the same: Nevada Republicans MUST VOTE!
Fight for Voter ID and vote to protect Nevada!
The maxim qui tacet consentire videtur—“he who is silent is taken to agree”, underscores that “silence gives consent”.
What could be more evil than the act of raping a child?
“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil..." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer (executed by the Nazis in 1945)
Democrats cannot set aside their petty hatred for Trump and the job ICE must do to stand up for that is ethical and moral. They should fee shame, but they do not.
Ford's silence is quite deafening. Ironically he has once again shouted his advocacy of illegal immigrants and obliquely his support for rapists. There is no good excuse for his silence.
But there is a very real reason:
My search for reactions from figures such as Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, or other congressional/national party voices did not surface strong public statements explicitly condemning the pardon itself (as opposed to criticizing subsequent federal deportation actions or broader immigration policy). This relative absence of prominent pushback from much of the national party contrasts with the sharp, immediate criticism from Republicans, including Governor Lombardo.
The Democrats are Ford's party. These are the people he supports and who support him. If you are a democrat and a parent, I don't know how you could vote for someone who tacitly condones the raping of anyone, let alone a child.
Edmund Burke said it best: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”.
Aaron Ford is not a good person. He should hold no public office in our nation and certain in the great state of Nevada.
Ford’s philosophy for creating a safer Nevada is for law enforcement and other community stakeholders to turn a blind eye to illegal immigrants. He is using the same old argument that it costs the state money to investigate what is basically a federal crime. Or that an illegal may not want to report a crime. Show me the data that proves either statement is remotely true.
Ford conveniently overlooks that the presence of illegals costs the Silver State tens of millions of dollars in medical, education, court costs, and first responder costs. Infrastructure costs money and illegal immigrants take from the state allocations and put nothing back into it.
Ford also turns a blind eye to the fact that immigrants take jobs from Nevadans and increase the cost of goods, services, and housing.
If you are here illegally, you should be concerned that you will be found and deported—you are breaking the law. We are a nation of laws for a reason. It is shameful that the state attorney general forgets that fact and his sworn duty.
The provisions of the 14th amendment don’t disappear for illegal immigrants, but neither does the responsibility of maintaining a secure border lawfully and respectfully.
Ford hangs out with Kamala and Gavin; he wants Nevada to be like California. If he is allowed to be governor of this great state, it will become the hellscape that is California.
No on illegal immigration. No on Ford.
Fun graphic, but the dates are off and it's important because it didn't take Sowell long after college to realize that Marxism was bullshit.
In the Summer of 1960, Sowell was was around 30, had already serves as a Marine and graduated later from Harvard. In 1960 he worked for the US Dept of Labor. During an assignment for the department, Sowell's experience started eroding his Marxism views.
Sowell has been anti-Marxist for over 50 years.
In a capitalist society, vote with your dollar. Don't buy anything Microsoft. If you are a decision maker at a company recommend non-Microsoft products. Nowadays it seems ideologues at major companies care less about money and more about appealing to woke DEI grifters...but you know who does care? Investors. Reduce profits, reduce the share price, changes will be made.
Question 6 no doubt requires thoughtful discussion and careful consideration. However, the two most important issues for the future of Nevada are:
1) Election integrity in the form of requiring Voter ID.
And
2) Getting Republicans off their butts and into voting booths.
These two things should be our primary concern. It has never been more important for our State and for our Nation.
Perhaps you should refer to the latest torrent of articles showing how the Biden administration let open the floodgates for illegal immigrants resulting in higher rents/mortgage by 30%.
Maybe direct your rent-based vitriol towards Democrats instead of just name-calling.
You are right. Rents and mortgages have gone up! But your anger is misplaced. Look at the left, not the right.
I think you are shouting out to Nevadan democrats. Not all Nevadans—most are Republicans. And there is nothing in the clip you linked to that is a surprise or takes away from the work Lombardo is doing. If you have a problem with the man, point to something substantive—which you likely cannot. Good luck with Ford; whose campaign slogan should be: “Make Nevada More Like California!”
No on Ford. Make Nevada Red Again.
I genuinely believe two things for the Silver State:
1) There are more Republicans than Democrats.
And
2) There are LESS Republican VOTERS than Democrats
To save the great state of Nevada and not go the way of horrific blue states like California, more Republicans MUST VOTE. Get off your asses and take nothing for granted! Be the vocal majority and fight for your state—because the Dems certainly are.
If you aren’t voting, you are part of the problem not the solution. If not for you, vote for the future of your progeny and this state.
@ChefGruel Ah so the suicidal empathy going from traditional criminals to drunk drivers now. Feel sorry for the driver who puts the public at risk for making poor choices. This is not the way.
This should be very simple; only biological females can compete in female sports. This is the most honest, fair, and sane approach. How can this even be an issue?
The fact that Ford not only allows but endorses boys playing in girls’ sports emphasizes his leftist political position and is contrary to what the majority of Nevadans want for their children and their state.
Ford only cares about the ideology of the left and his own power. He wants to bring insane and destructive California policies to the Silver State.
No on boys in girls’ sports; No on Ford.
This reason alone is why Ford should never be governor of Nevada or hold any position of power anywhere in the state. In a constitutional republic like ours, the sanctity and integrity of the voting process is foundational. There is no genuine argument against voter ID. If you walk into a liquor store and don’t have a valid ID, you will not walk out with your alcohol.
It’s a very simple process that is universally understood and no one argues against it. But leftists (basically communists) like Ford are desperate for power and want to manipulate the control levers and undermine our democracy for their own gain; and they don’t care what they have to do to accomplish their power grab.
Yes on Voter ID; no on Ford.
