@ninaturner One of the biggest lies about conservative/Republican voters is that they are ideologically consistent re: fiscal conservatism.
Fact is, they just don't like it when "handouts" go to "others". Conservatives LOVE handouts when they get them. See: Medicare, child tax credit, etc
@Jackapp92122906@Chandler_Rome I know, I’m saying no Dubon at all since Chas is better against both righties and lefties. Dusty’s hatred of Chas is getting old as fuck.
@midzee4 FOR REAL. I like Maldy overall but he calls way too many fastballs for Urquidy and Garcia in pitcher's counts. Urquidy's changeup is excellent and (until now) underused.
@KyleKulinski That is a LUDICROUS amount of money. His steadfast commitment to the bit makes a lot more sense now.
What was that from? Advertizing and gay frog dick pills?
@jkwdbu@ColumbusTrey@michaelschwab13 Which Chas is significantly better than Dubon in. Dubon has a 2% success rate added in CF, Chas has 5%, best for 5th in the league. League leader Siri is at 7%. There is ZERO justification for starting Dubon over Chas.
@stocky370@AstrosOptimism2 You would trade a 25 year old with a career ERA+ 2 points lower than Castillo's and under team control AND is on an insanely cheap contract for a 29-year-old who has never so much as SNIFFED the k/9 rate and WHIP that Javier has this year?
@TentyQuarantino I've been a Chas stan from the start of the season. Getting told Jake would be "SO MUCH BETTER" by everyone only for them to now be quiet as mice is both hilarious and annoying.
@Chandler_Rome Still have yet to see anything justifying the organization's adoration of Meyers. Just don't get it. He and Chas are identical in the field stats-wise and Chas is hitting some 120-130 OPS points higher.
@AstrosFan86 @trevstros @TuvesTongue@TickingTurtle Chas has a .760 OPS, good for around 10th among CFers. I don't think you trade someone who is in the top 1/3 of players at his position for a guy who *may* be good. Big difference between AAA and MLB (just look at Siri)
@Seany_buttz4 Hell yeah, they are on the right track then. In calculating costs for the next 18 years, it might be cheaper for us to just buy a cow considering how much milk they drink lol
@adams_at It's been the same story all year. Why this organization doesn't mandate more PT for Chas, particularly against lefties, will never make sense to me. Meyers doesn't look better at all yet for whatever reason the Astros decided from day 1 he was the CFer of the future? At a loss.
