I'm a mudang 무당. Translated, it refers to an officiated shaman-priest in my people's indigenous tradition. We undergo multiple years of training and prayer. I can do divination, create talismans/amulets, do small rituals and big ceremonies 굿!
The story is getting crazier and honestly more insane the more details that keep coming out…protect women at all costs
Apparently, this crazy man had been stalking a female part-time worker he worked with for over a year. And just TWO days before the high school girl stabbing incident, he reportedly went to the woman’s house in the early morning, strangled her until she lost consciousness, assaulted her, and kept her trapped until lunchtime the next day.
The victim reportedly pretended to go to work with him just so she could get outside and finally escape.
After she escaped, the perpetrator allegedly bought a knife from Daiso and spent TWO DAYS searching for her. He even went near her house but avoided the area after spotting a police car nearby.
Then late at night, after buses had stopped running and while he was wandering around trying to get home, he reportedly came across a student he didn’t even know and stabbed her. Even another student who tried to help was attacked too…
This entire case just keeps getting more horrifying the more information is revealed.
I hope he never sees the light of the day again
Thank you to everyone for tuning in and Mudang Mi @extinct for joining us for this episode :)
We covered: spirit illness, finding a shaman temple, folk gods vs shaman gods, flags as divination, talismans for specific outcomes, ritual ceremonies
I've been really looking forward to this episode. Mudang Mi is the one who identified my ancestors individually and got me into ancestral veneration which is now a big part of my spiritual practice.
We'll be doing a Mudang 101 as well :)

@Bulbagarden my choice was tactical from the beginning. I already knew from the anime that the first gym was Brock and he had rock types. Grass types are abundant in the first few areas, and I wasn't super impressed with Charmander. So my first pokemon was Squirtle.
I will say too this movie sent me down a research hole about the Japanese colonization of Korea.
If you want a movie about spiritual warfare against marginalized people. This is it.
