#China's oil & gas major #Sinopec signed an equity agreement with #Kazakh state's #KazMunayGas for 30% interest in a polyethylene project in #Kazakhstan. My understanding is that a #Russian entity will jointly develop the project.

"Key terms" were agreed in May on the sidelines of the China-Central Asia summit. #SPIEF was two months later and occasioned a large volume increase in the #eua share price and the Astana listing initiative.

A major strategic investment for 30% interest largely agreed several months earlier.
