We thought Onychinus was evil and behind the bombing of our family - they weren’t and Sylus was not involved.
We had negative perceptions of the Farspace Fleet and still do - But Caleb is working toward his OWN motives within the fleet.
Zayne was going to “assist” on X-heart, a research endeavour built from his own original research during university, through the story we see he was trying to undo all the work they attempted off of his research and was vehemently against them.

These stories all are slapping you in the face with the idea that things are not like what they seem on the surface, that the writing with subvert your expectations and characters are not one-dimensional. No character functions on the most basic initial way you see them, they’re all deeper and more complex with their own motives and navigating the world with their own responsibilities. Eoncore may work with EVER and Valko may be their chairman, but ESPECIALLY with how the other non-launch love interests go against expectations, the precedent of the writing is telling you if you just think about it Valko is doing more than what you are first made to think about him.

This is why I always say LADS writing is deeper than the surface because despite have 5 Love Interests with layered writing, some people are so stuck on the surface of all their characters and narratives STILL. It does a disservice to the characters and stories we have as well as the ones we are waiting for.

I think people don’t get it that some of us were expecting to encounter a new Li this year and loved to read theories/clues about him to pass the time while playing the game. The satisfaction to see you were right, can’t be described in words, you can only just feel excited even by seeing 47 seconds of a trailer of a character you've been dreaming about since a while becoming true. This is a feeling unlike any other.

IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE UNABLE TO RESIST SPENDING MONEY, I beg you to at least hold out until the last day or so of the banner.

It is best to not to give any money at all to a company that has zero respect for you or the things you love or its own creative team, but if you inevitably make the choice for yourself to spend, please give it a few days to make them sweat a little.

(I also recognized that spending and pulling with diamonds you’ve already saved up is different)

I am just being realistic about the power of FOMO. While it would be great to hope everyone will wait for the rerun, we have to learn to temper our expectations so we are not met with disappointment again. We’ve all agreed to not attack the ones who make choices for themselves.

That said, I am going to commit to the boycott, simply because I do not see a future for me in this game without #Valko - but this is my choice and I do not expect that to be everyone’s choice.
