Even as someone who can afford to buy new games, I typically wait for specials on PlayStation Network to do my shopping. Snagged Resident Evil 4 for 10 USD. Too many good games going for cheap to justify spending $80 on anything
Gamers love throwing out the "lol you're just broke" insult.
YEAH, I AM BROKE. AND GAMING IS ONE OF THE ONLY THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY. SO YES I'D LIKE TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD MY HOBBY SO I DON'T DRIVE OFF A CLIFF.๐
TOTALLY *not* a subtweet about the new EU law affecting Twitch streamers
Just amazes me how willing some streamers are to throw their fellow creators under the bus for a social media audience that would gladly misconstrue their words or actions and eat them alive for fun
If you work in a niche, financially volatile industry perhaps solidarity with and compassion for the few people who also work in that industry is more important than virtue signaling about how quickly you'd screw over another person in that industry for having the wrong opinions
Some of you might have seen this sculpture of three bears in Central Park, but I bet many of you dont know the touching story behind it. Group of Bears by Paul Manship was donated to the park by Samuel Friedman as a tribute to his late wife, interior designer Pat Hoffman Friedman
@curlybdancer I always found that comment weird. Like, yes, we want attention. So do musicians, actors, artists, comedians, etc. Performers depend on attention in order to grow their audience and make a living
If you stream you should occasionally watch back your VODs so that you understand what kind of experience your audience is having. I know not everyone likes hearing the sound of their own voice, but there are so many improvements you can make that you might not be aware of
As the weather in NYC starts to get unbearably hot, I thought it would be fun to revisit the first snowfall of 2026, Winter Storm Fern. If you want to see NYC's most iconic sites during the peak hours of the storm check out my latest YouTube video!

I'm lucky enough to always have someone who wants to eat with me, but I honestly believe people have to stop waiting around for others to do things they want to do. This doesn't just apply to eating out, but going to museums, traveling, etc.
Some of my friends figured out how to do Discord calls during IRL streams & have the call play out for the audience. Was really cool to be brought in as a guest for the first Twitch stream when they tried this out. I love how innovative the IRL crowd can be when it comes to tech
In my latest YouTube video I come across giant gummy bear sculptures, visit a popup for Kim Kardashian's business MasterClass, browse at a British shop in NYC and review chocolate from my favorite store in Hudson Yards

It makes such a difference when you're eating somewhere & you know the owners and they're friendly as hell. Went out for National Burger Day yesterday and the owners of the establishment I went to are standing outside, welcoming everyone in & handing out tickets for free burgers
Sometimes I consider playing the social media game a little more for discoverability reasons, but then I realize a major part of getting big here is caring an immense amount about how other people live their lives and I just can't be bothered to get worked up over what others do
