๐ ExtremeToMean | Master Reversion to Mean Trading
๐ Turning extreme price movements into low-risk, high-probability profits.
๐ต Helping you make $50+ a day!
We published a 2026 Macro Playbook in January. Six months later, here's the actual scorecard โ graded only on what's already happened (Q1+Q2), not on Q3/Q4 forecasts that haven't come due yet. ๐งต #FinTwit
Did you know the same "three states" read applies at every timeframe โ the 5-minute chart, the daily, the weekly? A market can be ranging intraday inside a larger daily trend. Know which chart you're actually naming the state on. #FinTwit
Between the Starter Kit and the Macro Playbook, there's a full library of process tools we've put together โ checklists, worksheets, review templates, all in one place. All free. If you've grabbed one tool from us before, this is the rest of them. #FinTwit
Liquidity is thinnest exactly where price has stretched furthest from the mean โ which is precisely why those extremes can snap back so fast once they turn. Thin liquidity cuts both ways: it's what let price stretch that far, and it's what lets it revert quickly. #RTM
Did you know a well-managed loss protects your account AND your next three decisions? A poorly-managed one does neither โ it costs you the trade, then costs you the discipline on the next one, and the one after that. Manage the loss like both are on the line, because they are.
"Is this stretched far enough to revert" is the second question. The first question is always "what is the market actually doing right now." Skip the first question and the second one is just a guess wearing a framework. #RTM
Room to revert only matters in a reverting market. In a trending market, the same "extreme distance from the mean" reading can just mean the trend is strong โ not that it's due to snap back. Same tool, different market state, opposite conclusion. #RTM
Did you know most prop firm failures aren't caused by one bad trade? They're caused by a string of decent trades sized too aggressively, with no room left when the inevitable losing streak shows up. Survival is a math problem before it's a skill problem. #FinTwit

A setup with plenty of room to revert can still be a bad trade if you enter it at a sloppy price. Distance from the mean tells you the condition exists. Your entry location tells you whether the trade is actually worth taking. #RTM
Most traders think the edge comes from finding more trades.
Often, the real edge is having the discipline to reject the ones that do not qualify.
Playing less is not inactivity. It is selectivity.
