The sheer irony of Reform UK’s Manchester Mayoral candidate promising to “open the books” on politicians receiving money from wealthy donors.
Did anyone tell her that her own party leader, Nigel Farage, is currently being investigated by the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner over a massive £5 million “gift” from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne that he didn't declare?
According to Reform, when other parties do it, it's a scandal that needs investigating.
But when Nigel pockets £5 million in cash, it’s just a “purely private, personal gift” and nobody else's business.
Maybe she should open the books closer to home first.📖👀 #McrMayor #ReformUK #Hypocrisy
Read this & weep.
This utter scumbag paedo, Jamie Smith was found GUILTY of possessing & distributing extreme child abuse videos/images, including of babies & category A - the most serious type.
The judge acknowledged that Smith “has a fairly longstanding interest in children, of any age”.🤢
Smith’s barrister tried to blame social media for the paedophile’s actions.
His family stuck by him & begged for clemency.
Was he jailed?
Don’t be silly….
The judge said that jailing him ‘wouldn’t be constructive or in the public interest’. He was instead given a two-year community rehabilitation order and 10 days of rehabilitation activity.🤯
We have a deep sickness within our society, we do not take the protection of children anywhere nearly as seriously as we should. It is scandalous.
We should have ZERO TOLERANCE for child abuse. No ‘second chances’. This paedophile should have been jailed and castrated. I’d probably want to look into his family (and anyone else who seems to think this is ok) too if I were in charge.
People of Christchurch, keep an eye out for this paedophile and keep him far, far away from your children.
Jamie, his family and the judge should all be utterly ashamed of themselves.
My heart breaks for the babies and children who were harmed, for this man’s pleasure 💔

When five people were injured in Edinburgh on 19 June, Keir Starmer responded the very next day:
“No one should face violence on our streets.”
He also said the suspect “appears to be motivated by anti Muslim hatred.”
Fast forward a week.
Five pedestrians are run over by Timir Ahmed Mohamed, who has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Where is the Prime Minister now?
What was the motivation behind this alleged attempted murder of 5 people?
It's these obvious double standards in public messaging that have fuelled division over the last two years.
People notice when some incidents get an immediate response while others are met with silence.
The worst thing Bridget Phillipson could have done for social mobility & white working class boys was to take a wrecking ball to the cross party consensus that helped English schools rise up international league tables. It delivered the best readers & writers in the Western world
@Fox_Claire@JuliaHB1@TalkTV Our local East Cheshire Council built a £9 million car park in Crewe that no one uses. Imagine if Andy Burnham doubled their budget. They’d probably build an airport that nobody uses.
Sadiq Khan and Mark Rowley PUBLICLY DENIED they knew about Pakistani rape gangs in London.
It's now been revealed more than 4,000 potential cases could now be reopened and Sadiq Khan had *already seen the evidence*.
This is a *blatant* cover-up.
They BOTH need to go!
Dear Natalie, I may have missed it, but as the Minister for the Safety of Women and Girls, I would have thought that the Rape and Murder of a 2 year old baby girl may have prompted a shred of outrage? If I were you, I would be screaming my head off in the lobby of the Houses of Parliament! But then.. I am not a Labour MP!
@NatalieFleetMP
Isn't the appeal of Andy Burnham meant to be that he, unlike Starmer, speaks human?
"will make place-based collaboration the new operating principle for UK plc..."
@Sam_Dumitriu Yep, but if someone has no idea of what to do or say, talk waffle, talk in soundbites, don't answer questions. Seems to be the Labour way now.
@KevinASchofield@cathyrivlino Kind of what a lot of socialism is all about really. Heaven help us, it seems to be getting worse and I really didn't think it could.
Yes - we are told there no media questions today for Andy Burnham, just as there were none when he last spoke at Ashton Town FC, the morning after his by-election victory. In fact he ran away then as journalists asked questions. But it is not a "good move". I don't think that avoiding scrutiny like this is a good look for a MP who looks set to be PM three weeks today.
