This is one of my favorite pics. It’s of our daughter, several years ago, protecting Titus from the rain. I’m not sure that the depth of my English vocabulary could faithfully describe how Titus affected them. Maybe a picture truly is worth a thousand words. I’ll just let it speak.

However, I can say this. Our son, Titus, has actually protected us. He protected us by not letting us worship comfort. He protected us by helping us trust God and not fear the future. He protected us by not letting us forget that all people are made in the image of God - no matter their race, ability, or age.

Yes, our son affected and protected us all, and I am thankful that he did!
